I think one of the things i really enjoyed in Tsuritama was also how it was so weird/quirky and mystical while not really having that super-natural feel to it (if that makes any sense, i can't really describe it). I somewhat found that in Jinrui wa suitai shimashita to a certain extent, but i didn't enjoy it as much because of other things.

My boyfriend introduced me to this anime and it was the first anime we watched when we first started dating. It is a very cute and it’s so colorful! I wish it got more love too! If it weren’t for my boyfriend I would never know about this anime.
I remember watching this anime 5-6 years ago and even after watching Naruto, Bleach, One Piece and all the popular series during that time that outlines the value of friendships, this was the one that made me truly crave friendships as pure and youthful.
this opening is amazing because despite having only watched this anime a handful of years ago, the song instantly fills me with this pang of nostalgia usually only felt for media from my youngest parts of childhood. something about this song transmits such a happy feeling but with a ever present, sense of bitter-sweetness almost, underlying every part of it, it’s hard for me to explain. i couldn’t really put into words the happy-sad feeling this song gives me, despite having years to articulate it. love this song forever and ever
