I do recommend taking the sheleeart course. Maybe you can get the same information off TH-cam, but you also get access to a course members only FB group with a boat load of extra information from a lot of knowledgeable people. That’s worth it

That first swipe was gorgeous and the second one was not so bad I do love the red but not that big blob in the middle…lol…but the very last swipe you did cemented the piece and brought it all together and that was a great save! I think beautiful work! I really want to try this but I need to find the time and courage! Lol…🤪😉

Thank you so much! Yes, consistency is key. If one is off the whole thing doesn’t work. I found that for me an over all thicker consistency works best. Swiping is way more forgiving than blooms…

I have yet to try one of your swipes...I need to get a spreader. I know I'll curse my way through it lolol. Um and can I just say ...you are hilarious and so freaking cute at the beginning of your vids!
I love this!!! I've seen this done but haven't been too excited about them. Always to thin and not enough paint. I have been laughing tho because I've been doing this for awhile now and didn't know what to call it. I put it on a silicone sheet and make skins, then use Modge Podge to put them on a little box.

Love this one. I have a question about the mdf board you use for the swipe do you think a 6x6 tile would be big enough or should I get a bigger panel to create the swipe on?
Thanks, Beth! So, mine is 12x12. But my canvas is quite big. I think for starters 6x6 enough, you can see that I just use the middle of that panel. I also think a tile is perfect, it’s smooth and a little slippery and you can peel the paint off of it.
