You're right it's like it's a gimmick class who attracts players who want to use their brain, speed and skill and the patience waiting for the right moment to strike(punish)
It also emphasizes on speed over power. Timing and the player's skillful maneuvers to overcome more powerful classes yet in the end gets overwhelmed by classes with pure unadulterated power combined with the enemy player's own tactics.
