- In this video I reacted to Agust D '대취타' MV. This was my first Time reacting to any solo suga songs and let me tell you this definitely won't be the last. This was beyond dope. It's just amazing to me how every person in BTS has their own dope style and still holds their own weight solo. Bravo Suga

Daechwita is actually very deep. He said 4 years ago when his first mixtape was released Agust D became a king. Back then he was blonde, so blonde king represents who he was in the past. Another name of king is anger. Black-haired Agust D represents who he is now and he is confronting his past-self. This story about the fight inside him and about being sickened with his own greed runs through many his songs. The Last and Interlude: Shadow are two of them and I really recommend you to listen to them

As you can see there is no BigHit intro, which is usual in BTS songs. That's because it is not BTS, it's Agust D and he has full creative control as Agust D, that's why he is responsible of everything in his solo music from songwriting and production to promotions and concepts of MVs

Agust D is the most successful Korean soloist in the present. He does songwriting, composing and producing. He is the most knowledgeable in music out of all the members and is the most musically inclined and involved since he's been doing music at 13 and used to work as a studio engineer at 17 and teach MIDI lessons and composing around that age too. He also produces songs for other artists not just BTS . All song he produces becomes hit and even competes against BTS songs on charts and nominations for SONG OF THE YEAR AWARD in South Korea. He can go real solo and even surpass what he has achieved so far now on his mixtapes.

Very true. I am an ot7 by now even if anyone pays too much attention to my bias and leave the other members I do not like that. I believe all members are equally talented and the bias thing is just about whose style and personality resonates with you
I've been saying since his first video. I love Jimin, don't get me wrong (he's not my bias), but I felt like he was going to get sucked to that part of the fandom we don't like, esp watching that weird fake ass video... So I do hope he checks everyone a bit equally if he is really interested, that is!

Yep, you got it. He shot the greedy egotistical self that could get out of balance and hurt his creative everyday self.
At this time, Suga still had not had surgery on his left shoulder, which was injured while he was a delivery guy as one of his part-time jobs before he was training, or maybe early in his training, with BTS. When you see the upcoming Permission to Dance, you'll probably see that his shoulders are down, his neck is long, and he doesn't need to hold his head forward anymore, because he's had the surgery and his pain and movement limitations are gone, and he's been doing physiotherapy to recover full strength and range of motion. Bringing this up because you are very sensitive to movement and dance. Suga has said he wants a dance from Jimin. Jimin has said he wants a song from Suga. (What I want is a song from Suga that Jimin choreographs that they both perform together. LOL.)
If you ask me what rap line tracks I would love to see you react to, they would be RM's Bicycle, Suga's Give It To Me, and j-hope's Blue Line. All three are rap line mixtape songs. None is longer than 3 minutes.

Suga’s is a fan-favorite. Suggest you see all three BTS rappers in TH-cam video of Cypher 1 thru 4, and you will understand all their differences. Now to Deachwita - the video and visuals (with Suga playing the mad king and Agust-D the rapper) were outstanding, and Agust-D/Suga is the only one who could come up with the creation and pull it off. Greatest rapper I’ve seen, - such a unique way with words, execution and rap-performance. Then have to admire his humor, his wit and creativity. He created story and produced video. The company put GENIUS on his studio office door (instead of his name), and is so fitting. He is truly admired.

@3:00 Korean films and dramas are actually world-renowned and top tier, sometimes even better than Hollywood. The Korean film “Parasite” even was the first ever foreign film to win Best Film at the Oscars..to be honest the quality of storytelling and visuals in Korean films and dramas are so good Hollywood could learn a thing or two from Korean productions and not the other way around.
As an American I disagree with your comment that they need to be in Hollywood. Big Hit Entertainment (now HYBE) has some super talented people making these videos and they need to stay true to their country! There is so much talent coming out of South Korea that the U.S. can't match. The U.S. music industry needs to take notice of what's coming out of South Korea and up their standards of what entertainment should be. Have you watched one of the music award shows yet? MMA and MAMA awards show are 1000 times better than any awards show here. Check out some of those award show performances that BTS has done and you will be very impressed. Asian entertainment really has set the bar high! They're amazing!
I think he means by like directing bigger things, because I 100% with you about the Asian industry setting the standards so high. But it would be cool to see what they would do with a western based product.

This is one of my favorite videos. You are correct when saying they are like movies. BTS are some of the most talented guys and what I love is individually they are all so different. Their uniqueness I believe is what makes them so successful. You get something different from all of them.

You know how Hollywood movies kind of start to get dull, especially when there is a franchise going? Because Hollywood's money-greed machine bleeds the creative artists and the content they make dry. Please let the BTS / BIGHIT / HYBE visual artists and film artists stay where they are so they can be free to do the fantastic jobs they're already doing. Let Hollywood come to South Korea to learn how to do it right.

A bias is fine, I mean what’s not to love about Jimin, but so is exploring their individual stuff is amazing. Btw it was Jungkook AND he was fighting with Jin because of course they were fighting. I think these camera operators and directors of these kpop music videos are better than Hollywood. Hollywood should take notes from the Korean music video creators.
I respectfully disagree that the creative team of BTS working on these projects ‘needs to be in Hollywood’ or that ‘they are not working at their full potential’ just because it’s not Hollywood. They are exactly where they should be. The idea that everything that is good has to exist in the west or Hollywood by default is just not it. Not to forget how Asian talents in any field of work (off or on camera) almost never get the same treatment and opportunity to shine in any part of western entertainment industry. Even BTS as big as they are, is still fighting through this system. These genius people are part of the team that gives us the extraordinary content of BTS. I doubt they will get the same exposure elsewhere that they are getting with BTS. I am Asian and we are living through this everyday so I had to point out the reality. Not offense to you, man. I am just going to be realistic and say, Someone’s reaction to an issue depends on the effect it has on them directly. It’s a rather a sensitive topic for various reasons and this was my opinion based on my own experience of it. And my comment was not an attempt to attack him. I like him and his reactions, and I know he meant it as a complement.

Suga is my bias and I love this MV! You were right, that’s Jungkook and Jin fighting in the background lol. Daechwita is the traditional Korean music that was played before the king entered a space. Suga is a certified genius, he writes a song a day, he produces for BTS and other artists. He’s a full member of Korean songwriters association. I could go on and on.
