    Great video. The bell does make a difference. I personally prefer the sound of the MOBA Cocobolo. Thank you God bless you ! By. Uk

    I thought the R-13 bell sounded more focused and yes, bright, a la a Buffet clarinet sound-the beautiful French sound! Hey, I want a lightsaber!!! ‘Loved the analogy!

      Yes! I do kind of like that bit brighter sound.

    The cocobolo ones seem brighter. I do prefer the Buffet ones because they have a darker tone.

      I could see that. They felt a little brighter and slightly more open from what I remember.

      #5 was the Lumiere in cocobolo, but the last one #6 was the Lumiere in grenadilla which was my favorite.

    Tradition has the best intonation, love sound of granadilla lumiere best

      I suppose it does make sense that the bell built for the clarinet would have the best intonation. I also really liked playing the grenadilla Lumiere!

    I think the grenadilla is deeper and richer.

    • @QuickStartClarinet
      @QuickStartClarinet  ปีที่แล้ว

      I agree, but I do also like the sweet mellowness of the cocobolo (depending on the day).

    It all depends on the expertise of the player.

    • @QuickStartClarinet
      @QuickStartClarinet  ปีที่แล้ว

      Definitely, that's why unfortunately there is not just one specific set up that everyone can play and sound great on.
