I really appreciated that you marked the locations along the way. I wanted to see those washed out roads near Ludlow and if the wood roads were passible, so thank for posting this video.

Great video and that was hard core going solo on sections of Vermont.

That mud section one of the main route sections or a bypass? Great ride. Headed up in a few days.

That's along the main route in Section 5. I headed into Vermont on the tail of that major storm. Unfortunately didn't have cell service so didn't know they asked riders to bypass Vermont due to the damage. These are the coordinates 44.05126 N 72.55586 W. Road is pretty steep too. I was traveling S to N. Have a safe trip. Those Class 4 roads in VT are no joke.

Great video. I plan to do the NeBDR with my son this summer both on 1290sar. I am tempted to use the 690r in the stable. You appear to be an experienced rider, which one would you pick?

The tough areas would've been a lot easier on a 690r, but you can't beat to power and comfort of the 1290. Since you'll be riding with someone if one of you happen to go down at least you'll have the help getting her back up. Thanks for watching enjoy the trip. One thing I can recommend is taking your time. There's a lot to see. Ride safe.

Great video! What tent/garage set up are you using?

Thanks!! That's the Lone Rider Moto Tent. Have to honestly say it's one of the best purchases I've made. It was so nice not having to carry extra tarps to cover the bike and myself while outside the tent. I'm 6 ft. and can stand inside the garage area of the tent.

@@tomantonucci6233 thanks! We’re scheduled to run the NEBDR in a month. Typically I’m a minimalist, but admit this looks amazing. Enjoyed your video

@@riverrockoverland1951 I'm the same way. I usually bring a hammock tent with me, but last year it nearly rained everyday while out on the MABDR and I was tired of setting up tarps once getting to my campsite. This was my first trip with the moto tent and I loved it. In the video the bag is a little bigger than normal because I stuffed my dry bag with sleeping bag inside with the tent.

Another question: were you wearing a protection layer under your jersey? If so, which one? TIA

@@riverrockoverland1951yes I have the Rev'it removeable Protector Jacket Proteus. I use to just wear my Rev'it jacket and pants but in the summer months I would be soaked with sweat. So now I remove the armor that came already installed in the jacket and pants and wear the removeable jacket under the jacket while on the highway and under the jersey while mainly doing off-road. In the video you'll see that I have my jacket and pants under the beaver tail on the duffel bag. Only wore it on the way to the start and on way home.
