Another tip for collecting souls is that wild plants that have fully grown can also have their soul reaped if you don't want to bother tending to your own personal garden.
Thank you so much for another in depth guide! I won't be buying the pack anytime soon, so it's really nice ot be able to see all the things it offers. So far it seems very promising
Nice work summing up this career! I'm always a bit leery of active careers, as I feel like they can get samey pretty quick, but this looks like one of the better ones. Certainly comes with some cool rewards too -- we do love those awesome Reaper Robes!
Can you do a short video of all the jobs so far and what pack there from. (Not too much detail, just simple) I don't have most packs and Idk what pack to get
Wait if there's a netherworld portal but the Netherworld department of death(N.W.D.D) is also in the netherworld why do the reapers release souls to that portal than just leaving them in the netherworld is what am saying making any sense?
they're probably releasing them to the great beyond, where sims can't go. ghosts shed their plumbob when going to the great beyond, so it'd make sense that only souls (and maybe grim?) can go there :)
Off topic: if you have to choose between vampire or magic choose magic or werewolf and magic choose magic Back to topic it would be cool to collect souls from the paranormal pack if active
It's a trait, so you still have it even if you leave the job. Idk about the interaction with old age though. You might just wind up dying every day only to be brought back again. So you'd basically have one day at a time to figure out how to reduce your age
Hey petey plays it. I have a sims life and death question. When you have a ghost sim that has completed at least up to the no regrets Lv of the souls journey, they can be released to the great beyond. If they haven’t completed no regrets, they can be sent to the netherworld. Is there a difference between these, or are they both just ways to delete the ghost sim from play?
Household Sims also get a Reward Trait from witnessing a Ghost Sim Move On. Perspectives on Death - Someone in [Sim Name]'s household Moved onto the Great Beyond and now new reflections of life, death, and everything in between stir within them. These profound insights enhance [Sim Name]'s ability to manage grief, making them more resilient and likely to remain confident through difficult times. Additionally, it provides a boost to all Soul's Journey gains, inspiring [Sim Name] to enrich their own journey with newfound clarity and purpose.
for missions where you have to listen to pleas, it'll be a premade sim. for reaping, it'll be a randomly generated townie. dw though, any premade sim won't really die! it's similar to the doctor career, where sometimes you'll have to deliver a baby - but the baby's fake and it won't exist anywhere in your save after you leave work
@@threeheadedmountaindew Thank you for the explanation. so later one of the randomly selected premade sim family members will take the role of the dying sim, and then the soul harvesting will be canceled following the mission script, like that right?
It doesn't! All the sims whose souls you have to collect are randomly generated sims specifically for the career. There is an event which can involve a preexisting sim (the one in which another sim pleas for their life), but you always have the option to spare them in that case, so they'll only die for real if you let them.
@@batsandbabydollsvods right on..well before my game corrupted I had a sim do the reaper career and when I went out to investigate or something it took me to one my sims home i play with and they had him has dead my game corrupted and i had to unintall, reintall and delted all the files and start over from that point i didn't do that career again as of yet
"For a small reward." Me looking at the Salvadoradan treasures she fished out of fisures.
Tina: Death proof? Gonna get that
Thank you so much for the mention! I can’t tell you what a surprise it was to be listening and then suddenly hear my name come up in your video!
I love the cute little turtle and Mt.Komorebi dolls in your office!
That reward trait looks amazing. Indeed very beneficial for basically any playthrough.
Wake up guys Pete posted a new video 🥳

About time they released something that isn't just another boring pack!
Tina should complete the grilled cheese aspiration

it would have been awesome to have reaper as occult, first as a profession (some sort of test) then the occult estate
Fabulous Petey. I can’t wait to play this career
Im Thankful for you and your videos!
never been this early to a Pete vid omg
Loved this video, thank you
How do I give you the 1 million subs you deserve ❤

There's probably different levels... I mean each and every myth has different levels and/or places of their netherwold

Does this "completing work tasks beyond what's needed for gold" apply to other active careers or just Grimternship?
What happened to the super sim challenge?
Missing miss Tina 😢
I wonder if death proof works for old age? What if you change careers?
It's a trait, so you still have it even if you leave the job. Idk about the interaction with old age though. You might just wind up dying every day only to be brought back again. So you'd basically have one day at a time to figure out how to reduce your age

For me all I've gotten on the rewards for reaching my quota was simoleons 👁️👄👁️ about $300s so far

if you send them to the great beyond they'll drop their plumbob and you can choose to sell it or keep it. it makes for a fun collectible lol

If you have Discover University, is there a university degree that goes with the Reaper Career?
Finallll.........Ahhhh 💀
Why does this pack have a better work experience than Get to work
yes, it's so much better. a bit repetitive still, but it's easy to progress and it's generally more fun!
is this active career targeting premade sims or system will generating townies to fill deceased sim role ?
for missions where you have to listen to pleas, it'll be a premade sim. for reaping, it'll be a randomly generated townie. dw though, any premade sim won't really die! it's similar to the doctor career, where sometimes you'll have to deliver a baby - but the baby's fake and it won't exist anywhere in your save after you leave work
