Hi Ma'am , this is Riasat Ali here, I recently completed my MPhil in Computer Science from Superior University of Lahore, Pakistan, with significant research in Machine Learning and CNN models, including a first-author publication. With 3 years of Software Engineering and 2 years of teaching experience, I am eager to pursue a PhD in Machine Learning in Canada. Could you provide guidance on applying?
@@shahzadarif1100 yes absolutely. And if you plan to come with family, your spouse will actually get a work permit automatically. Keep in mind PhD students can only work 20 hr per week max because there is a cap on it in your study permit, but the spouse can work full time.
@@SadiaKhaf Just one last question.. 😊 if both parents wish to earn their PhD degrees, will they be able to manage the research/ academic workload in Canadian Universities along with the family (1-2kids). I mean to say, can both parents do PhDs in the same time? or they should enrol one by one keeping in view the coursework, qualifiers etc requirements at Canada. PS: both have good academic record along with research acumen but managing family with PhD is the main concern
@@shahzadarif1100 That totally depends on the ages of your kids and if they need daycare/babysitter etc. The coursework requirements here are the bare minimum. Only one real course and the rest are pretty much research credits. In most cases, you can both enroll at the same time and manage kids.
Just to correct a fact mentioned around 3.20 minutes, dental cleaning costs around$80 to $120. Not disputing the importance of dental insurance
I have 8.72/10 cgpa with 3 projects and 4months internship experience. Can i get an admit into "Western " or McMaster " for MS in Comp Sc?
Do you have publication? They would want that

Good video.
What mic are you using?
So travelling to your country on vacation is out of question? Also, with these income streams, it seems a PhD student cannot support a small family
Yes basically that’s the summary. To support your family you definitely need a second funding source or a part time job.
@@SadiaKhaf or a working spouse 😊
