So so definitions, straightforward questions, and explanations ...that's all the Ghanaian education prepares you for..ask practical questions that will make the kids think outside the box and apply what they know
The boys are good, but in my opinion, Persco won not because they were that exceptional but because the girls were afraid at some point. The contest could have been better. All the same congrats Peter's
The girls are more prepared for examination than quiz. Performance at quiz depends on a strategic team of coordinating teachers and their ability to craft a team of smart or intelligent students (not the brilliant) who share common vision and willing to blend and work together to achieve a common goal. Mere selection of the best students don't perform well unless organized, coordinated and beautifully meshed.
@@agyabengoseiaddo2563err, firstly, I doubt if you watched their contest with PC. Their confidence begun to wane during the first round when they got some questions wrong in succession. However, they trumped they other schools in the second round and got back their confidence. It seemed to be a problem with almost all the girls schools I saw compete and I'm not being biased. Secondly, as a literate, do you think this was the best way to get your message across? Smh

They have created special NSMQ resource centres managed by strong coordinating team of committed teachers who are ably supported by passionate old boys and school administration. The team of coordinators organize quizzes to select the team from SHS 1and develop them through SHs2 until they are matured to compete. Most schools fail to do well because of lack of strategy: they just select their best students without a succession plan and just send them to compete. However the show of interests and enthusiasm of Wesley Old Girls in this year's competition means the school is getting it there.
