As an American gooner, I can't relate to the feelings many of you North Londoners feel when the lyrics hit just the right spot and the memories flood in... but I can feel the passion in his voice and I can relate to the love of your hometown... and I am so damn happy the Gunners have a new anthem that makes the supporters feel such an immense passion. If a miracle does occur and Arsenal actually do manage to win the league, I think Louis deserves to ride with the team in the open bus top parade. No one has managed to bridge that gap between the team and the club since Thierry Henry. great comeback, bitter-sweet feeling at the end, feels like pressure is at man city side, everyone thinks they already won the title. I have a feeling this is going to be 1989 again, when Arsenal had to beat Liverpool at Anfield by 2 goals difference to snatch title from them (even tho we were top of the league for most of the season). Great season whatever happens :)

Only been to north London a few times as an American, and it's been about 20 years. Haven't been to Ashburton Grove for a game, just Highbury. Regardless, this song damn near makes me tear up as an Arsenal fan. Love this club and all my fellow Gooners. Class, tradition, history. Oil money can't buy them, and Arsenal epitomizes all 3.
My mind and body may be in New Jersey but my heart has been in North London for over 3 decades now. I sing this song loud and proud every Gunners game day from almost 4,000 miles away.
North London forever ♾️, because of Thierry Henry, Patrick Vieira,Arsene Wenger I became a Gunner for life when I was 9 yrs old and to see us now on the cusp of winning the league and in the champions League quarters is a great sight to behold. Trust the process, trust Arteta,Edu and the board but above all TRUST THE GUNNERS OF NORTH LONDON ❤❤❤❤. All the way from South Africa🇿🇦 to the world 🌎🌍
This was the first song I learned on my guitar. I’m Scottish and live in Livingston and I’m only 11 and yet I feel like I get every thing he is saying. I might not be able to relate to it and this song is the best song I’ve ever heard. My dad cried when he heard me play it and I love this isn’t song so much. Louis you are an absolute legend.
Born in Hanley Road Hospital in Stroud Green, Arsenal and North London in my DNA. Live in Devon now but seeing those London faces and hearing those accents took me back…pretty emotional. Mate you’ve given Arsenal its soul back.
The best thing about this song is this: it best describes what it means to be an Arsenal fan because it’s not just about a football club but about an area, Community and about an escapism from the everyday that my daddy installed in me. The worst part for me is that my father passed away before he ever heard it. I love you dad, Arsenal FC and louis for everything.
I'm from small town in India. Been a Gunner since 2005. Small things connect bigger things. From around the globe, same roof. We bleed Red. North London is Red forever. ❤️
Come back to this song when we officially lost it in 22-23. All I have to say is the player really tried there best. More than any fan, the are the people who want it the most. This has been an incredible season. Others fan may laugh at us but this season is unforgettable, tomorrow is the last match of this journey and might be the last match of Granit Xhaka, what a man, he fought most of his career for Arsenal and when we achieve something (I mean the ticket to Champion league) he has to leave. So let's close this chapter with the match tomorrow, I promise the next chapter will be better, brighter. I love you all #COYG p/s: I will be back here when we win the league, the champions league... as long as I still alive
I don't have the words to express how much I love this song. I'm a Gooner from across the pond. Born and raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and there's so many parts of the lyrics with which I identify. The last time I was at The Emirates for a game, this song had not been recorded. Can't wait until I get back to London and sing this incredible tribute to North London with my fellow supporters of THE ARSENAL. Come on, you Gunners and well done @louis_dunford!!
Lyrics : As I walk these streets alone Through this borough I call home Upon the baron fields of Highbury, Neath the stadiums of stone Through the turnstiles at The Angel See the homeless on the green From The Cally to The Cross And every Shithole in between Pass the church, the mosque, a crack den And the offie on the corner See the brasses from the brothel That pretends to be a sauna Watch the bedlam in the bookies See the winners and the losers Seeking solace from their sorrows In the local battle cruisers Through the madness in the market Weathered faces turn to greet ya "Hello guvnor, how's your mother?" "You alright son, be lucky geeza" Double pie and mash and liquor A Cuppa Rosie Lee up chap Or watch retired gangsters bicker Everyday in Arthur's cafe The little fuckers causing trouble For the cozzers make you smile You meet ya muckers for a couple Forget your troubles for a while From The Thornhill to The Hemmy All the faces are the same Cause the manor might be changing But the people still remain North London forever Whatever the weather These streets are our own And my heart will leave you never My blood will forever Run through the stone As I walk these streets alone Through a kingdom made of Chrome I see them ripping up the cobbles And tearing down our childhood homes I see the architecture changing Watch the history disappear And the skyline rearranging Into towers of veneer But I see the remnants of the London That they thought they could erase Every time I hear the old school Talk about the good old days Or every time I watch the football Or have a ruby with the lads See an hoister selling clobber Or a dealer shooting bags It's in the single mothers, juggling a baby, And a job, in every single brother Struggling that wound up on the dock It's in the roots and the foundations, Still clinging to the land It's in the bricks that built the Morland And Popham that still stand It's in my family and my friends In every gram and every Benz It's in the roots that we inherit When a generation ends It's in the ruins of your youth And the faces of your past Cause the manor might be changing But the people always last North London forever Whatever the weather These streets are our own And my heart will leave you never My blood will forever Run through the stone

As a Gunner, I have never felt more proud than ever. Hope this can be sung at The Emirates every game
Absolutely beautiful. Islington and Arsenal forever 🔴⚪️❤️
Arsenal& highbury for ever

Proud to be a Gooner. Then, now and forever. ❤🔥
You bottled the league lol
Liverpool bottled it , if anyone. Anyway, if you're not a Citeh Fan, who are you to talk. Are you a Middx Trophy Dodger? If so, just jealous, so remember North London is Red!
I am a Newcastle United fan but I love this song. I am going to hear this when we play you on Saturday. It is a great song.
As a geordie aswel a love this song al of his are canny. But big river or Blaydon races can't be out done.
Thanks.😁
It's the same we beat you that game though
We've had a tough season Newcastle but I hope you win a trophy this season. I have a soft spot for Arsenal it was my first team I supported before I supported my beloved Newcastle United@@leehoward1935
The chorus needs to be blasted from the stands at the arsenal it’s perfect! 🔴⚪️

Up the Gunners, EIE!

You must know the clarks?
I think its great that there are still young people who want to pay attention to their local culture, appreciate it and try to revive it when it feels like its slipping away from them.
Time to put Spurs to bed on Thursday!
We ain’t done it but with the power of people like you and gooners we will read a bedtime story to them soon 👍😂

Islington Gunner, know most if not all of the locations shot in the song. But it doesn’t matter if you’re 5 minutes or 5 hours away; this song makes those who bleed arsenal come together. We’re on our way back to the top, and this absolute tune has helped bring the fans and the club closer together again, so thank you Louis❤
Brilliant sentiments mate for those that can't get to the ground we are supporting the boys and we sing in the ground because you can't but no matter where you are in the world North London forever Iam 67 years of age and I truly believe if we don't win the league this year I will never see it again in my lifetime ❤
Irishman here, Arsenal supporter with strong London connections. Song gives me goosebumps every single time ❤️⚪️
My Uncle's last words to me were “be lucky” the day before he died. Even tho we’re from Clapham South London this song represents every borough of London. We all have our own Manor and Memories and Older Generations. I wish my uncle got to hear this song being a lifelong Arsenal fan. London Be Lucky Forever!
I really want Arsenal fans to sing this song every match. I'm from Russia and I get goosebumps from this song, I've been rooting for Arsenal for a long time and I'll sing with you friends through the broadcast. Arsenal is starting a new era, we will succeed. COYG🔴⚪️
If a miracle does occur and Arsenal actually do manage to win the league, I think Louis deserves to ride with the team in the open bus top parade. No one has managed to bridge that gap between the team and the club since Thierry Henry.
It's still very early days, but starting to believe that something amazing can happen, just like this song has done for the entire club.
Arsenal has never been so united since we we're in Highbury

We go again!
That would be a lovely sight.
AFTV bridge that cap. They have captured worldwide supporters. It still a good song.

I couldn't care less about the football, I just love watching the video. The people make me smile, the memories of times gone by and the authentic London snap shots. Thanks for sharing, Louis.
Louis, you are about to hit big time fame with the Emirates crowd blaring this now!
Gem of a song
My loving dad a lifelong Gooner passed away just away just before this song was released. Would loved to have been able to play this at his funeral as a fitting send off. Every time I hear this my eyes well up at his memory.
Sorry for your loss x
Your life must be sad if yous capping about deaths of loved ones
Here after the 3-3 v Southampton. And my heart will leave you never, Arsenal
great comeback, bitter-sweet feeling at the end, feels like pressure is at man city side, everyone thinks they already won the title.

As a villa fan, this song is class.
Born in Hanley Road Hospital in Stroud Green, Arsenal and North London in my DNA. Live in Devon now but seeing those London faces and hearing those accents took me back…pretty emotional. Mate you’ve given Arsenal its soul back.
This club is going places and everyone can sense it.
Heard it today for the first time at the Emirates. Missus is a gunner and this is a proper football anthem. Love it!!! From a Charlton fan.
Been putting this banger on loop since the leeds game, an Arsenal fan from HK
Come back to this song when we officially lost it in 22-23. All I have to say is the player really tried there best. More than any fan, the are the people who want it the most. This has been an incredible season. Others fan may laugh at us but this season is unforgettable, tomorrow is the last match of this journey and might be the last match of Granit Xhaka, what a man, he fought most of his career for Arsenal and when we achieve something (I mean the ticket to Champion league) he has to leave.
So let's close this chapter with the match tomorrow, I promise the next chapter will be better, brighter. I love you all #COYG
p/s: I will be back here when we win the league, the champions league... as long as I still alive
Lyrics :
As I walk these streets alone
Through this borough I call home
Upon the baron fields of Highbury,
Neath the stadiums of stone
Through the turnstiles at The Angel
See the homeless on the green
From The Cally to The Cross
And every Shithole in between
Pass the church, the mosque, a crack den
And the offie on the corner
See the brasses from the brothel
That pretends to be a sauna
Watch the bedlam in the bookies
See the winners and the losers
Seeking solace from their sorrows
In the local battle cruisers
Through the madness in the market
Weathered faces turn to greet ya
"Hello guvnor, how's your mother?"
"You alright son, be lucky geeza"
Double pie and mash and liquor
A Cuppa Rosie Lee up chap
Or watch retired gangsters bicker
Everyday in Arthur's cafe
The little fuckers causing trouble
For the cozzers make you smile
You meet ya muckers for a couple
Forget your troubles for a while
From The Thornhill to The Hemmy
All the faces are the same
Cause the manor might be changing
But the people still remain
North London forever
Whatever the weather
These streets are our own
And my heart will leave you never
My blood will forever
Run through the stone
As I walk these streets alone
Through a kingdom made of Chrome
I see them ripping up the cobbles
And tearing down our childhood homes
I see the architecture changing
Watch the history disappear
And the skyline rearranging
Into towers of veneer
But I see the remnants of the London
That they thought they could erase
Every time I hear the old school
Talk about the good old days
Or every time I watch the football
Or have a ruby with the lads
See an hoister selling clobber
Or a dealer shooting bags
It's in the single mothers, juggling a baby,
And a job, in every single brother
Struggling that wound up on the dock
It's in the roots and the foundations,
Still clinging to the land
It's in the bricks that built the Morland
And Popham that still stand
It's in my family and my friends
In every gram and every Benz
It's in the roots that we inherit
When a generation ends
It's in the ruins of your youth
And the faces of your past
Cause the manor might be changing
But the people always last
North London forever
Whatever the weather
These streets are our own
And my heart will leave you never
My blood will forever
Run through the stone
Love it 😀 😍 ❤️
