    I like the way you describe things you cover almost all the aspects even minor one which other people jus ignores, It is great to hear actual reality from you that is what I like about this channel. You just unbox every single thing about scorpio N.

    Sir kya ye actual mileage hai, mere paas abhi scorpio classic hai, mujhe car change karni hai, lekin logo ke reviews ke accordingly mileage 5-6 kmpl hai ( in city ) is reason se Mai consider nahi kar pa raha hu, please clarify 🙏🏻

      It depends upon your driving style and the nature of jams you put your car in, any car can give a mileage of even 2kmpl also if it’s just stagnant with AC on for hours in jam, so will recommend only petrol if your driving is fixed and less than 1000km /month or 12K km/year, for delhi, In this video you must have seen jams also but those were around 20% of the time not 80% and If I would have used the same from nehruplace to Gurgaon via ring road on weekdays the avg would have been less, so for weekend driving on less jams it is good but not for long drives over weekdays where car is just not movingly due to jams

    I had really low expectations with this Petrol engine from Mahindra because 1- They have hardly any experience with petrol engines
    2- Globally speaking they are not even a fraction of and don't have near as much budget as giants like Toyota and Hyundai even.
    But this engine is a full on surprise to me, its performance and mileage both are worldclass, city mileage of 9 is near 10-11 which we get with Verna 1.5 Turbo, and this has atleast 30 percent more power and torque than that, is a much larger engine and is on a car that is atleast 500-700 kg heavier. All this proves the engine itself is state of the art! Now the highway mileage of 13.5 is on the lower side as compared to 18-20 of the Verna but then, aside from the differences stated before the lack of aerodynamic shape of the large SUV is hampering its performance, had it been in a lighter and more aerodynamic sedan package this engine too would have returned much better figures. And all this with torque converter AT transmission which is known to reduce efficiency. Mahindra has done a tremendous job with this engine and it truly is state of the art, no matter which way you look at it. 👌🏻

      This is a beast of 2 ton with a very powerful engine we can get, mileage is acceptable to me and now since delhi NCR weather has changed, hence mileage would increase upto 1kmpl more, would share soon once I consume full tank, at the time when I was making video temperature was above 45 all the time, that had a major impact on mileage both for city and highway, since AC is very powerful it must have drawn a lot of fuel, let’s see now, also another factor is a driving efficiently, I’m making one detail video on driving so that people can try the same and save some fuel on this monster.

    DIESEL IS A BIG NO after BS6.
    DPF issue is frustrating and thus a dealbreaker

    • @harpreet_singh_walia_youtube
      @harpreet_singh_walia_youtube  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      If running is too high then diesel will be good in terms of fuel consumption and you save a lot over petrol, even if maintenance increases but you save a lot of fuel, mainly it’s for people who drive 100 or over per day, for them petrol will be extremely expensive, as an example petrol is good for Dr’s who have to only drive 10-30km daily to their clinic or hospital etc. in my example I have only weekends driving not weekdays, for weekends I use swift

      @@abhisheksvarma Yes, correct, every one has a preference, If my driving would have been more, then Diesel or strong hybrid could have been my first preference, since I drive hardly 1,000 a month and on top of that 60% is being used for TH-cam, so my driving is really less so I won't care petrol, since April I have always found its lowest average have been 8.5 to 9 which I very good for me and on highway 13 works for me well. This is my secondary car my primary car is Swift petrol only. So these kind of monsters you only keep as a Secondary if you buy petrol
