- The Baxters on Prime Video is a new faith based series that centers around family issues and how to overcome them. We spoke with star and exec. producer, Roma Downey
I watch all 3 seasons in less than a week. I loved the series and can't wait for more.
This TV show is not clear about what their faith is about or who their faith is in. They talk about God and their faith. What is their faith? If Christianity why do you know they not bring up Jesus!? Jesus is Christianity it's Jesus Christ and Christian means little Jesus. It's nice to see this kind of show on TV but they talk more about their wisdom and how everything always turns out right very predictable but they don't talk about the Bible or Bible verses or I like the scenes where the one gentleman was reading the Bible. I don't know If it's a Christian show I feel like it should be more Christian and more about Christ instead of our own opinions
You have to watch more than one episode to see what this family is about. The more you watch, the more you see their reliance on God & the Word of God & how much they put their trust in Him. The parents are examples to their adult children & offer sound advice as they deal with hard situations. In my opinion, this series is very much a Christian series, showing that life is not always easy & the One to turn to is Jesus.

Got rid of the black guy
I have read every book from this series, and fell in love with this family. , Through their trials grief and victories God was always the center of it all.
