I had a torn ACL and a Sprained ACL. I have two cracked bones in my ankles and have arthritis in my hands and back. I was prescribed vicodin to help with the pain as I traveled the country performing music. I started getting addicted and I decided to stop taking it. I went through serious withdrawals and had to go home for about a week. Weed helps with the pain and I don't even feel like I have a need to smoke. Oh and i'm only 19.

I was on that crutch myself, and I confirm it’s nice not to have to break the law to feel normal. But homes, do you know how methadone gets into your bone marrow? I didn’t at the time I wanted to heal. The half life of methadone it’s like 3xs of heroin.
Every time I try to stop, I couldn’t take the length of the withdrawals. And I started with 30 mg of methadone and I was at 50 in the year and a half. The plan was to get off. The clinic wasn’t doing that. So I devised my own way. I took a blood pressure medication, grab my nuts and it took me six months to feel like I’m myself again. Hardest road back to normality from my own stupidity.

husband just left 30 minutes ago to move to Denver for awhile to get clean. this is the only thing getting me through right now. H is killing our partners, our children, our parents, our neighbors, EVERYONE.
I went from smoking 30 consecutive months, to now 2months without it. No problem quitting, no withdrawal. Does it suck not having it? Yes because I know I'm not killing myself and it helped me socially/mentally/with sleep & creativity, but I never went stealing or killing to smoke lol. Definitely not doing worse shit, I rarely even drink.
harm reduction is why "blazin" is recovery for many stuck on hard drugs. weed is meant to help to stop using and find moderation which is more realistically possible to a real addict

That fact of the matter is, humans did not create chemicals, chemicals creat humans, and everything else in the world, man-made and organic materials. Caffine is a drug, you don't ingest high altitude, therefore it isn't a drug, and glucose isn't classified as a drug because it doesn't affect processes of mind/body on its own, although it provides the ATP energy needed for most chemical reactions.

Im talking about the way its categorized, marijuana is put with heroine and cocaine. which is stupid. Its more of a medical drug which has positives. People look down on weed like its a 'bad drug' because people get high off it, but really its a good drug because people need it for medical reasons.

Except for the fact that it's not actually possible for a "REAL addict" to moderate their use...if it were possible, they were going through a phase, not suffering from legitimate addiction, seeing as the inability to moderate is a huge characteristic defining addiction. Weed can be harm reduction for some users of hard drugs, but it's in no way 'recovery'; a real addict won't ever truly be capable of moderating even that, no matter what they tell the rest of the world.

the only negative qualities marijuana has are the fact that youre smoking matter, memory loss and the fact that its addictive doesnt help either. If hemp plant (isn't a chem/drug itself) CONTAINS chem's which cause certain reactions, then it's considered a drug, since you can't chose which chemicals u smoke when u burn it up.
