  • This is a quick review of the new Zebra Sarasa Nano, a 0.3 mm gel pen that is part of Zebra's excellent Sarasa line. The refill is compatible with the Sarasa Grand ( unsharpen.com/... ) and other pens in the family.

I just love the Sarasa line so much. Everything is so good and I just love the grand and the select.

Okay, I'll admit that I'm not a fan of Sarasa. Have many of it, including grand and grand vintage. But this new creation is the best Sarasa ever. Weight and balance at the top of the game.

I like the little dimple at the top near the clip of the Clip and the R, it helps to put your finger (or thumb) where it’s easiest to push to expand the clip. Overall it probably doesn’t make too much of a difference and definitely helps the aesthetics of the Nano.
I like that Zebra is still coming out with new designs for their Sarasa line. It makes me wonder if they’ll come out with another premium option for it like the Grand. A new stainless steel series pen would be cool as well

Thanks for the video. My issue with the Blen and Nano grip is that it collects dust and other particles 😕 drives me crazy!

Sarasa clip comes in 0.3 and 0.4 tip sizes too. No 0.38 as far as I know.

There's 0.38 Sarasa Clip and 0.38 ST-1 in capped body.

Great content as always, a trusted source of info for non-FP pens. That extra extension of the tip of the Nano is critical to people who is very meticulous about certain way a pen performs like me. I have to make a hack for all my gel pens to have them tips extend just a wee bit. Curious about how this .30 compared to the 0.35 though.

Today I've found out, out of my hacking that a barrel actually made a difference with these small size tip , I do also feel the Sarasa Nano write kind of dry and less smooth than the 0.5/0.7 , how so wrong am I when I, just out of curiosity, mixing these new refill vs the new pen models. I put the Nano's refill into a Mitsubishi Uni UniBall-One F and suddenly the refill write way smoother , I put it down to the slim size difference the refill between the UniBall and the Nano , the nano refill just fit that bit tighter inside the UniBall One-F and in turn when it write it just write. And similarly I've taken the chance to put Sakura BallSign ID refill into the Sarasa Nano body and as well the UniBall One refill, they both work fine. The Nano is really a nice body with very fine mechanism and the weight as well as the execution of the ergonomics , aesthetic made it a step above the nominal Sarasa models

I have both Nano and One, and honestly I like the weight and balance of Nano on slick papers like Rhodia. As far as colors, One is the better one. The colors is really deeper than any pens out there.

I see the vintage colors on the nano available on Jetpens! They just aren't labeled vintage color. I'm ordering a camel yellow nano to see how I like the 0.3 refill on my sarasa grand vintage since that only comes in 0.5.
