- This video shows the in-depth process of installing HID projector onto a Yamaha Gladiator / SS125. The bike is 10 years old and the existing projector setup was around 8 years old. The projector and dome had lost it's performance over time due to wear and tear.

My gladiator is having problem during rains, water getting into fuel tank and carburetor, what to do, cleaned twice still issue persist ((
There is a breather hose for the Carb, mostly that is broken with age. Replace it with a new hose.
For tank you need to replace the fuel cap.
Also replace the sparkplug cable and sparkplug cap.

Will Yamaha gladiator Type RS start without battery support?
One Mech told me that,if I will kick start gladiator without battery support...Cdi & Rr unit will get burned (damaged)..
Is it true?
Gladiator in it's stock state can very well run without a battery. However I would always suggest to have a battery in the bike for best performance and the CDI gets regulated voltage all the time. But without a battery, the bike can very well run in emergency situations.

Nothing else is needed. My friend has fitted this in Fz V1. Fits perfectly

@@abdurrahman-zx6rb solednoid is a part of every Bixenon projector and ballast is used to fire up the HID bulb. These are always mandatory.
2.5 suits in yamaha fzs headlight? I saw 2.5 projector in online that one not like you fitting in this video, just remove reflector and transparent glass just fix it from front and back no need to expand hole. My doubt is will fix perfectly, because I think that 2.5 projector is big. Please give your opinion
Mine is 3 inch projector. The one you are talking about are H4 type projector fitment. You need to see the spacing mainly when it comes to FZ headlamps.

Hid better than leds
I some ways HIDs are still better. Mainly color temperature and highbeam hotspots are better in HID Projector but LED projectors have improved a lot with time.
Can we fix this to fzs without ballaster?
Any HID bulb will require a Ballast. HIDs operate on high voltage AC current which is achieved by the ballast.

I have 360 led h1 can I fix that in the projector without ballast
Ballast is needed for HID bulbs, so for LED it's out of context. You can try the 360 LED and see if the output is good. Generally the position of the light source differs from HID / LEDs and Halogens.

@@AbdurRahman-so4bz with my experience I feel it won't give good output as the source of light needs to be at the exact focus point for the best output which is difficult to achieve.
Better to go with BiLED projectors which some with inbuilt LEDs.
Can i use anabond 666 for havey duty industrial use rtv silicone sealant
Avoid Anabond sealant for headlamp sealing. Causes fogging.

One of my in-laws close friends is selling this bike, it's not been used for a very long time, we were taking it home to drive for some days but in middle, petrol leake started, called mechanic he fixed it but tyre was punctured as well. Hella OEM Projectors are no more available. And this is the best performing projector money can buy right now.
Without ballast high beam will work?
Ballast is used to fire up the HID bulb. Highbeam and Lowbeam is performed by a solenoid which is a part of the projector.

How Did you install to stock h4 socket,does Relay harness needed?
Relay hareness driven by H4 socket that supplies power to the HID ballast and other components.

Yes, look for the LED projector installation video in the YBR125 in my channel, its definitely possible.
@@MototechWanderer I am planning to tear down a sealed beam led panel (only the electrical portion) and install it in my halogen stock apache 4v setup. For pricing issue i want to go with the tvs star city plus led set up . As you know it is trial and error process and money and risk involved i am not sure to do this. you as a youtuber can do this. As you can also monetise your faliure.so can you try this😅
You can give it a try as much as I can. Small scale TH-camrs like me make barely anything to fund anything that I do. I am fully self funded by my full time job while TH-cam continues to be a passion driven project.

Going by the law, even putting a sticker on a vehicle is illegal as it it's a 'modification' outside the manufacturer's specifications. However, not all cops create trouble depending on your location.
Yes, putting an HID Directly on your reflector system will produce quite some glare on the oncoming traffic.

BTW, in full DC motorcycles like Classic BS6 or Meteor 350 is it necessary to do coil winding process?
@@siddhesh2888 yes, full DC is the mandaty requirement for HIDs and LEDs. For motorcycles that are already full DC, rewinding will not be needed.
@@MototechWanderer So, only motorcycles/scooters which have AC connection, requires coil rewind process.

Some full DC motorcycles like R15 / Fazer also need rewinding as running 2 HIDs on that stock system is not possible.

Yes it can be. But I would suggest to go with LED projector rather. Check my channel for the LED projector installation in Yamaha YBR.

Shrouds make it looks neat and clean. You can use any shroud or can fix without any shroud too. Any 3 inch shroud can be used.
@@MototechWanderer Also, my 3G has 5Ah battery with RTD H4 LED installed in it which creates way worst beam pattern and intensity.

Which LED to use?
Is the scooter is full DC from company (That means headlamp runs on battery) then no issue. Else you will have to rewind the coil and make it full DC first.
