I can think of no better way to end this series than this: the way of salvation to those who are seeking. It is easy to look around us and see that the world is not perfect. Neither are the people living in it. We all make mistakes; we all fall short of God’s perfection. This is known as “sin”. Sin is what separates us from God. No matter how hard we try, we’ve all sinned and done wrong at some point in our life. Some of us more than others. But in the eyes of God, any amount of sin is sin. Romans 3, verse 23 says, “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” The concern of sin is that it separates us from God, even after we die. Romans 6, verse 23 says, “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” God does not want to be separate from us. God considers us his children. He loves us. He created us in his image and longs for a relationship with us - here on this earth and also in heaven someday. John 3, verse 16 says, “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” Jesus was God on earth. He lived a perfect life and then was crucified on the cross to take the punishment of our sin for us. He took our place. 1 John 4, verse 10 says, “Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.” Being saved is as simple as this: admit you are a sinner, believe that Jesus died on the cross and rose to life again to pay sin’s debt for you, ask God to forgive you for your sins. You could say a simple prayer like this: “God, I know I’m a sinner. I believe you sent Jesus to die for our sins and that he rose to life again three days later. Please forgive me for all the things I’ve done wrong. I want to be saved. I want to have a relationship with you and to go to heaven when I die. In Jesus’ name, Amen.” Romans 10, verse 13 says, “For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” Romans 10, verse 9 says, “If thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.” Being a Christian is more than a religious designation. It is a relationship with the God of the universe - the God who created you. You will never walk alone anymore. God is with you and loves you. Being a Christian does not mean that life will be perfect here on out. It really won’t! But you now have God on your side, through good times and bad, as a companion, guide, and friend. When this life is over, heaven awaits. “The Lord bless thee, and keep thee: The Lord make his face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee: The Lord lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace.” Numbers 6, verses 24-26. ♥God bless us all ♥
Thank you, so much for reading the Bible with me. I have struggled with my faith this year, and everytime I saw your video prompt on my you tube subscriptions, I said, "I will read my Bible and let the Holy Spirit help me and He has". I only found you a few months ago, so I will start the New Year re-reading with you. I hope you come on once and while. You are such a blessing to me, and many others. Just by reading the Bible together makes me not feel so alone at night. I wish you the best in the New Year, dear one. God Bless us all, In Jesus Name I Pray, the Name above all names. Amen. Love Rochelle Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: Philippians 2:9

Thank you for doing this! I've enjoyed watching/listening/reading along with your videos this year while I also read through the Bible for my first time! It wasn't exactly on the same schedule as you but you were absolutely an influence in keeping me motivated and I hope that you will still be blessed in reading through in the future as well.
Thank you so much, Greg! And absolutely - I love hearing from you, and I hope you like the other videos. Your encouraging comments kept me going to the finish line ♥
