Before I bought my first pair of Ray Bans, I did research on what would be the sunglass lenses for your eyes because I delivered packages for a living, and hated sunglasses that when you took them off indoors, you had to give your eyes time to adjust. What I love about Ray Bans is the Bausch and Lomb lenses. I also read green is a good color for lenses. That had to be true because my dad was in the navy and military issue was exactly green lenses. I had that one pair of RBs for 5 years. That's with everyday use; off and on my face over 50 times a day. I will say that the frames started to bread early on, but I use them for the lenses. In over 20 years, I've owned 4 pairs. If you keep them in the case when you're not wearing them, they'll last forever!
My 50mm Tortoises are arriving today. I like the look but wasn't sure about how the tilt would feel. Sounds like I'm gonna be ok. Thanks a lot for the review.

Hello friend, I have a question. I bought glasses Ray-Ban Weifarer, the next day I found a marriage in one ear, I was accepted at the store and told to order one ear for a replacement, not just the whole frame, whether there are original spare parts or only the whole frame ?

Gabriel Machado Oh gosh..they're both so good and they're both classics. As far as materials/type of plastic used for the frame, I prefer the original but as far as overall comfort and ease of style, the new wayfarer. Especially because you just don't feel like you're wearing anything they are so comfortable!
KLSunwear totally agree. As you said the original has a better construction, but the New Wayferer is really cool too. Hard to choose, depends on the day, the mood...rs. Hope you do some Persol's reviews, really like this shades too.

lost them twice. scared of buying them again. Pentoscopic tilt will get some getting used to, especially when the sun is over your head

what difference RB2140 and RB2140F? is it just only the bridge one?
Diego Costa hey! The 2140F has always stood for Asian fit, even on ray-ban.com. Now however certain subscribers are telling me the Asian fit is 2140A but I don't have experience with that model. Hi Kristen, did you end up keeping THESE ones? haha. I got a pair of old-school ray-ban II's, I wonder if they remade those as well; the lenses are amazing but I want them in a newer frame!
Yes I will always have these :) I'll bet the lenses ARE great. The closest to what you're describing ( you mean the B&L Wayfarer II?) would be a 2140 54mm probably.
