I’ve thought about doing a video on the Speedmaster a lot but there are just so many videos already covering it. I may still end up doing one because I absolutely love it! Hands down my favorite in my collection and speaking of that I plan on doing a whole collection review in the next few weeks. Thank you so much for the support!
@@BlueCollarLuxe i agree. But there aren’t many long term reviews, talking about how they hold up over the long haul in terms of comfort, accuracy, durable etc. I’d love to hear your take on those things especially before I buy one for myself.
I’m noticing that “tool” watches specifically designed for a particular purpose tend to be the most perfect, most desirable, most visually balanced, most unchanged, and therefore most iconic.
I agree 1000% with that and may I say that is a solid observation that I have never really considered but thinking about it all the watches that I truly love were built for a purpose other than just telling time! I truly appreciate the support so thank you very much!!!!!!!!
I would pick a Speedy - I currently really like the new FOIS & the ‘57, Rolex Explorer 40mm, & Cartier Santos. With a little luck & if I live long enough (I’m in my 60’s) I might make it. Lots of others but based on what might be possible these would be my dreams.
Sounds like a beautiful collection to me! I would have a hard time choosing between the new FOIS and the 57 reissue. Thank you for taking the time to watch and comment!
@ that’s exactly how I felt. I will tell you the process is a horrible one. I just watched another TH-camr sharing his experience and it closely mirrored mine. I love the watch and I’m happy I have it. But I don’t know that I’d want to do it all over again.
@ you mentioned the cartier! I need a sub next but it's sort of boring at the same time haha. Breitlings for me were so cool in the late 90s but ive lost it since then
I get the Sub can be a bit boring but it is still iconic! I am going on the list to get a new one from the AD, hopefully for my 50th birthday next year, I refuse to pay over retail so I will have to wait. As for the Navitimer, you may be right about it peeking in the 90s but that was around the time I fell in love with watches so it kinda makes since that I have a thing for Breitling. As always, Thank you so much for watching and commenting!
For my limited education in watches and horology, I couldn’t agree with you any less. Thank you for sharing.
As always, thank you so much for taking the time to watch and comment!
It would be really cool to see you do a review of your experience with your Speedmaster.

I will make it happen!
Go check out the piece I just did an unboxing on, I think you will like it!

Rolex submariner, Casio f91 / g-shock square, omega speedmaster
That is a solid three piece pick for sure!
Somehow, I knew you would pick the Rolex submariner as number one. I must be learning a lot bro!
Of course bro, it’s hands down the most copied and famously influential watch of all time!
@@BlueCollarLuxe I totally agree. That’s why i just bought it. The next icon I want is the Speedmaster.
@@impeccablecew I plan to go on the waitlist this month for one. I refuse to pay over retail even if it means I won't have one.

Omega Speedmaster
Rolex Daytona
AP Royal Oak
Good picks but the Sub has to be in there, it is the most copied watch of all time! Did you pause and pick or pick after me?
Speedy
Submariner
Cartier Dumont
Our picks were close!
