a bit wrong. Persian was the first empire with the first monotheistic religion in history, it's called Zarathustrianism and they believe in one god, Ahura Mazda. Which u can read in the sanskrit. (also known as Avesta)

Persia's golden age was during the early and middle ages period during the peak of Persio-Islamic civilization. Since knowledge was restricted to priests in ancient persia, the Pahlavi script (which was borrowed from Syriac anyways), was not spread. Thus, when public schools were established all around Persia, Arabic script was introduced, very similar to Syriac (similar to Pahlavi),the Persians developed their unique script later on. Persian becam dominant all around Asia back then

I am Persian, but I dont live in Iran. My family left since days of qajaris.
My current country is very moderate in religion, and I studied history independently, sometimes without touching arabic historian books.
I have no idea where you got those unrealistic sources, please provide it to me!
Zoroastrians were treated as Dhimmis, and were to pay jizya (less than what a Muslim pay for zakat), and in return they were allowed to ditch army enrollment.

Zoroastrian beliefs prohibited Iranians from attaining knowledge, it was restricted for the priests only. Even Gundishapur institute in Ctesphon was full of scholars from Assyria, and Greece, and few were Iranian priests. Zoroastrian beliefs are based on dividing the society in castes. Like in Hindu society. It was unfair for majority. Where as i Islam, people were all encouraged to attain knowledge, and schools were set every where in Persia. No social in Islam, all were equal.

A lot of these factors encouraged the Zoroastrians to convert to Islam, and the conversion was mainly volunteerly, and started with the Sassaina elites, landlords.
I come from a region in south Shiraz that was populated with many Zoroastrians priests and we already got a number of ancient atashkadeh, we all know it by generations that we volunteerly converted to Islam, and last conversion occured during the 15th century.
Arabs conquesters remained in Iran for less than 200 years!

Thats very misleading. I'm a native Fars of Shiraz, and I have studied religions of Iran thoroughly and I can debate you roooooz o shab, Iranians adhered Islam first by the elites of Sassanian period, and then people followed in no time. 90% of Islamic scholars were ethnic Iranians.
However, the song obviously praises Iranian legacy, from Zartosht and to Ismael Samani.
I'm Sunni, and Tajiks are Sunni Iranics. In Sunnism, we praise both our Iranian heritage along with Islam.

Lahnat ba tu...Khorasan was a zartosht place but now there is no zartosh in khorasan/afg....I love zartosht as a part of OUr history not religion. Don't you wonder why people left zartoshti and accepted islam????? Islam means unity, equality, peace and happiness. Zartosht=caste system and almost atash parasti lol
