National Night Out Alternative Event 2020

To celebrate National Night Out, the City of Highland Park Police Department is sponsoring a food drive benefitting the Moraine Township Food Pantry on Tuesday, October 6. Officers will collect non-perishable food to help stock the Moraine Township Food Pantry, which provides produce, meat, dairy, and shelf-stable food to Moraine Township residents in need.
To make a donation to the community food drive, please email the City Manager's Office at [e-mail] and provide your name and address so the officers may add you to the list. Please place your donation on your front porch on the morning of October 6, and officers will collect it later that day.
National Night Out, an annual event that endeavors to promote a positive police-community relationship, has traditionally been celebrated in Highland Park with a family-friendly event at City Hall. As the national event was rescheduled from August due to the pandemic, the Highland Park Police Department has planned a safe alternative for the event.
