- Beginning 13th August 2021, git will no longer accept account passwords when authenticating Git operations on GitHub.com. Instead, you can use Personal Access Tokens. In this session, I have demonstrated the use of personal access tokens.

Hi, you don’t have to re-enter everytime. Windows stores the credentials in the credential manager so that you don’t have to enter again.
