I'm beginning to think that Nancy Mace is THE most dangerous lawmaker in DC, because she comes across as rational, intelligent, and has organized thoughts. But when you put next to each other the things she said just within a two-week span, you'll see just how whacked she is as a person.
She word-vomits 100 words per second in an attempt to make herself sound confident and knowledgeable, and also to confuse and overpower people asking the questions. It seems to be a common tactic amongst hard-right conservatives who don't have anything factual or meaningful to say.
I agree she a spectre of articulation but some things she says are borderline insane. What can you expect from people who think faith and their intuition are more valid than reason and facts.

So Mace won't vote for Scalise because of his speaking at a David Duke founded group gathering... but is fine in voting for Gym Jordan, who evidence points to his having helped immensely with the attempted overthrow of democracy for this nation back in January of 2021; it's absurd how trivial she was about his involvement in that.

They're upset about a meeting Scalese attended 21 years ago and has since said was a mistake, but she's ok with someone who turned his back on his own college wrestlers being sexually abused...I haven't heard Jordan apologize to his wrestlers and saying that was a mistake. I'm suspicious of all politicians, so I'm not convinced that she is being 100% honest about why she doesn't want Scalise as speaker. (Jim Jordan was one of the people who worked hard to try to delegitimize and discard certified electoral votes in the 2020 presidential election. He also worked closely with Trump on his plans for Jan 6th. MTG has much more in common politically with Jordan. So of couse she'd rather have Jordan as the new Speaker). But I guess it is good that she didn't give a cruel or disparaging reason.
If I really believed that MTG cared deeply about him and that was the reason- it would be touching. Likely, she's just looking for a good excuse to not support him. I don't think she has any morals whatsoever when it comes to politics.

When she said that the problem she had with Jim Jordan's allegation was that it hasn't been adjudicated by the law, Jake should've turned the question on her by saying, "Will it matter though, considering the law verdict has no effect on your support for Trump (whose sexual abuse allegation had already been adjucated in the court of law)?!"
