You started something in the neighborhood which your brother followed- flashy lifestyles, too bad. Anyway learn to forgive him but never forget or let your guard down anymore especially when dealing with him. He can kill you for your properties so be vigilant

There are many high paying jobs in London and that attracts lots of high earning professionals. Unfortunately most Ghanaians refuse to upgrade themselves and instead of moving to other parts of the UK they simply remain in London and complain about bills. London is good for either a high earners or the average income earner renting a council flat. I live in London and I love ma city but u have to be a professional or an average earner living in council flat to truly appreciate the city.

Your brother's issue is not new to most Ghanaians abroad. You might have heard of some of these stories but did not take a clue from them. There's no honest person in Ghana, no, not one, and they know. What you call family is not a family anymore. They're exploiters who extort money from anyone. Your real family is your children and wife, if the wife has not been polluted by her relatives. Lying and dishonesty have moved to the center stage. Now, the best is to buy an apartment from one of those commercial real estates than to build. If you're not building to rent, forget it. Never allow any relative from your side or your wife's side to occupy your property. Build and rent the rooms out. It's good to go to Ghana frequently to supervise your own building. Build to rent so you can make some money.

V v sad & a real eye opener. Pls just be v v careful, focus on your 1st family, ie, wife and chn. You've gone through so much trauma but you also led such an irresponsible life when you were young. Treat this as payback time!! Sometimes you've got to go through such painful experiences to right some wrongs, believe it or not.
Seriously, your faith in God will help in the healing process. No rush, continue the project at your own pace and not through any middle man. Steer away from that Ghanaian mentality that your brother remains your brother. "Wo nua nyɛ a, wo nua a,😂 ne no" nonsense! He'll be your downfall. 😢 May God protect & keep you safe & well, you need your sanity to care for your wife & chn. Stay strong & God bless🙏🏾😇
Hey! DJN, you never fail us. Indeed, your sense of humour, advice, non-judgemental attitude & active listening make it all the more interesting. By jove! you're improving the mindset on a whole new level!! I salute you, BAM!!💪🏾🤝🏾👏🏽

I understand your situation but take heart and don't let this make you kill yourself or develop critical sickness. Life is more important than money and as long you have life you will recoup all you have lost and complete your project.

The only mistake any Burger can make is asking a family member to do a project for you. Before you start a project, make sure 2 or 3 family members and an outsider know about it, that is how you can be safe.

Don't be surprised your brother acted that way, he took after your own former lifestyle. It will take him also some life's challenges to change.
