"Indai to bai kamap, why na yu no tokim mi, bihain yu go". She is wishing her husband/partner said goodbye before he passed on. Song reminds us to cherish and love those nearest and dearest to us always.
The meaning of the song is sad cause it tells the story Sai who has died and left his wife and kids. also explains how his wife feels the burden all on her as she cries and say “why you left her all of a sudden you didn’t get to say goodbye to me!😢😢😢
I went to PNG when I was 5. I grew up there. Papua New Guinea em i as ples blon mi. Love this song! Much love to all of PNG but especially to olgeta wantok em i stap insait Southern Highlands.
Moqai has the best songs and he has a very good natural voice. Listen to other new musicians, who are modifying their natural voice with technology and they think they sound cool, but, if you ask them to play live, they will be scrambling. Love Moqai's songs and music.
Oh man I was just in my dorms in BYU,Hawaii-USA and think back of my compound back home in POM CT. Joyce Bay is where my Heart is and my brought-up from the Ghetto to here I am. Love you all and this is the cool song,Moqai-keep them coming bro!!!
It's basically about one of the partner's in the relationship wailing over the loss of the partner who has apparently left for somebody else or another reason. That's the best I could summarise.
jimmford yes they are saying how could you just leave and not say anything you have left me behind with a heart broken soul i loved you so much! it could mean a death of some one or wife ,husband. friend the pain you have left behind i cant bare i am missing you always and forever
png people are god people!! if you as anoutsider, just learn to except us as a people!! and not say nasty things to upset us, we will ove and take good care of you, melanesia, is the best.love you west and east papua.
PNG is the best place in the world to grow up. Southern Highlands Province to be exact. We went in 1968. I was 5 years old.. We stayed 4 year terms then had to come back to the states for one year. I didn't like coming back at all. Culture shock was horrible especially in the 9th grade. Mom taught all 5 of us through Calvert correspondence schooling at the dinner table. Then as each one got older we went out to the Summer Institute of Linguistics school at Ukarumpa. l graduated there in 1981. My heart has and always will belong to Papua New Guinea!!!
