Then, my sibling who has been a nightmare the past two years while taking care of our elderly mother. Mom died in June and I am comforted that she's out of her misery. But the verbal attacks by my sibling have devastated me. I have found a new woman friend in my community and we have lots of fun so I'm healing. The past person is not in my life. I'm not vengeful but I am still hurt. I'm happier without him because he has negative energy.

So right Swede. I have bounced back from this understanding just what and why it happened. I let it go and I am fine with this ending. I should have known better and I was fooled but I've come to realize that in life, it just doesn't matter as much as what you really have in your life and what you make of your life. I’m struggling with being independently single! I’m invisible to some and unapproachable to others? WTF? I feel my youth slipping away and keep thinking about my Aunts who got married, had kids and divorced. They raised their kids themselves before the term “single mom “ was a thing.
