Bajaj Pulsar N250 Vs GixxerSf250 ( Friendly Battle )

Pulsar N250 against the best 250 in the market right now..
Well.. engine power wise.. the Sf250 has a slightly better top end power. This might be debatable because the N250 is a brand new bike while the Sf250 is thoroughly ru-in an it's one of the fastest Sf250 we have tested. Taking all that into consideration we are pretty impressed with the N250 engine.
Handling.. The Sf250 wins hands down because the N250 has got a soft front end with a slightly stiff rear shocker. This gives the bike an imbalance ride as the front end dives too much on braking, ending in a nervous handling bike at higher speeds, specially at high speed braking.
Reducing the rear shocker preload by a notch might balance out the bike a bit. But, that's a temporary fix as the pace increases the soft front will again rear it's ugly head.
Brakes.. the front brake on the N250 wins hands down on braking power although this advantage is negated by the soft front suspension. The rear brake is ok.. not great.. the rear brake on the Sf250 is one of the best in Indian production bike.
Ergonomics.. Although the Sf250 is a full fared bike we feel it's got a slight edge on comfort as the whole package feels neutral . The riding position on the N250 is great although we would like the seat to be slightly longer as we were bumping on the split rear seat with quick direction changes.
Overall we think the N250 is a great value for money bike... the punchy motor will be a great asset in city traffic.
