      Yes! I actually have the generation loss mkII. I like it a lot but it’s a bit confusing sometimes with all the modes and stuff. I’m still learning. And browsing the second hand market like never before 😉

    Dude I say go for it! I once saw a video of Ian from DjTechTools using pedals for live sets and I fell in love with them. It's a super unique way to do it plus all the different pedals provide an infinite amount of possibilities! Great video by the way, as always 😁

    One of my fav's is Electro-Harmonix Ravish Sitar. Works well on pads and drones.

    I’ve built my first pedal board within the past 10 months.. and I’ve already swapped out every pedal at least once with something else. It’s a trap!! 😂

    • @AccurateBeats
      @AccurateBeats  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Ah! Exactly what I’m afraid of! But it’s still a better trap than modular synths would be 😂

    New a different approaches is cool, i added an Akai EWI Solo wind synth last month - just because "to get a sound" is so different.
    I have never had any wind instrument before.... whole new world to explore.. love how YOU are the ADSR.. so different.

    I would like to get some gamecahngeraudio gear, specially plasma and sustain, but those are way too expensive for my budget.
    Also could use 2 of both, so could have home and rehearsal room. Could use these with my bass/guitar on my bands and at home on beats.

    • @AccurateBeats

  • @badoedipus2551
    @badoedipus2551 ปีที่แล้ว

    Yeah.. I’ve had my eye on that reverb for a while. I’ve been thinking about getting a real spring reverb for my guitar.. there’s not really a ton of options, and the game changer looked like the most interesting.. and to use with synths and stuff to.
    I’m off in synth land.. and believe it or not.. im finding cost effective approaches to modular. Teenage engineering just dropped their prices on there modular stuff again.. Behringer’s 2600, if you can hold your nose, offers a whole lot for not too much.. there’s definitely weird cool little things you can find. I’ve been eyeing second hand Stereo Fields recently.. and I’m thinking of doing an Elmyra 2 DIY kit.
    I’ve also been thinking about getting a field recorder and getting cheap sound design orientated microphones.. like contact mikes, telephone mikes.. etc.

    Have you looked into Death By Audio pedals?

  • @frankensteezTV
    @frankensteezTV ปีที่แล้ว

    Can you explain how you are hooking it up meaning the connections into and out back into your mixer?

    • @AccurateBeats
      @AccurateBeats  ปีที่แล้ว

      I use a patchbay together with my audio interface that has the inputs and outputs pre-routed. This lets me connect a few patch cables between different patch points and that way send the audio from anything into anything else.
      That means I can leave all the devices connected to the patchbay and change the signal patch from the front of my rack. No need for a mixer or replacing cables on the actual devices.
      Not a solution I recommend for a small setup but it makes my setup flexible and effective

    • @frankensteezTV
      @frankensteezTV ปีที่แล้ว

      What patchbay do you use? Looking to get a similar setup. Also which interface?

    • @AccurateBeats
      @AccurateBeats  ปีที่แล้ว

      @@frankensteezTV I have an "ART P48""patchbay. I chose it since its bot halfnormalled and fully normal depending on switches in the back. That's hooked up to my Universal Audio Apollo x8 audio interface which also is connected over dat to my Arturia Audofuse 8pre.
      Maybe an overkill setup but since I have a lot of gear with both in-and outputs it makes sense to me... Took a bit or work to set up initially but I think it's worth it!

    awesome! I kinda wonder how long producers or just synth geeks have been playing with pedals. when I started playing guitar about 17 years ago, I had never heard of pedals being used for anything other than electric guitar.
    cool vid though

    I don't like Plasma pedal at all. I think its a gimmick and I don't buy what they say it do, but even if its true, the results aren't good in my opinion, sounds like a bad Fuzz pedal. BUT the Light pedal is in other league, its incredible. Nobody cant find a reverb like this on the market. I would love if they made a stereo version.

    • @AccurateBeats
      @AccurateBeats  ปีที่แล้ว

      Oh? I think the more aggressive sounds the Plasma makes are way over the top for me but sometimes it can bring out the magic in a kick drum in a really unexpected way but I see what you mean!
      Yeah, the light pedal is definitely my favorite of the two. It’s musical I’m a way I’ve never experienced in a reverb before. Diving into pedals will be a fun ride!
