Love your videos and the scriptures in them. I have just been put on disability and have been going thru troubles with it but the good Lord has been guiding me thru. I'm still having surgeries to get patched back up and hope to get back to crappie fishing soon. I started tying jigs for hand therapy and it seems to be helping. Keep your videos coming cause they are very informative.

I didn’t realize that the average viewer for Crappie Fishing was 55 and up. Guess that’s right, I’m 55. Crappie Fishing has changed so much in my lifetime.
25 years ago nobody Crappie Fished in the Summer months. Now everyone with a boat that can get in deep water is Crappie Fishing in the Summer months. Nowadays with all the electronics and tackle we use, I’m surprised we ever caught a Crappie back in the 70’s and 80’s. lol

thanks for the word and the fish catching. I fish a river system in TN. Where I'm located, there are very few bays/creek arms. Basically it is just river channel. Do you ever catch them out in the main channel in current?

What do you look for to pin point crappie and whats the best time of the year
@@stanleymonroe5566 My opinion is spring and fall for best times to find and catch more crappie. I look for spawning areas, whether it’s weeds or rocks, each lake is different. Then I consider the time of year and there cycle to locate them in brush piles, standing timber, blow downs, structures and lake contours. I’d say crappie spend most their life in the top to mid depth of any lake, mostly in Alabama 10’-20’ deep.

You might not have electronics on boat at this time but you have fished the lakes so you kind of know where to go. But can you catch crappies when you never fished a lake before, by just looking at a map??
I learned most all the place on here before using electronics . Yes maps will help you, I’ve used them for years as well as keeping details written down from year to year about where , when , weather, water conditions, wind direction, and surface temperatures.
