Goodness...What a gorgeous hymn to Summer! I don't think we here in central Texas will be singing hymns anytime soon to our "devil months!" We average 37 to 40 Degrees Celsius on most days with 60% humidity! (June 1 through October 31) Sheeesh! We tend to thank God for the Fall!!! Y'all enjoy the beauty of your summertime and keep singing!
Your Swedish songs are lovely, but could I make a suggestion? Could you put the English translation in your comment section so we, who only know English, could read along as you sing, and understand what you are singing about. Just an idea. Love you guys!
I found a translation here at www.musicanet.org/textes/t/en/01/004en.htm when I Googled the song name The rich dress of fresh green has decorated the valley and the hills. The flowers bloom in the meadow, The wind delights the fields. The sun's rays in the wooded valley, The waving willows, Announce the coming of summer. The joyful birds sing praises Of their happiness and the peace of summer. From forest edge, from the silent nest Their songs ring out. A song of joy and hope Rises from their throats And enlivens our souls. But you, Oh God, make our place so beautiful in the summer hours. Make me pay heed to your word And your message of mercy. Flesh perishes, the flowers die, The temporal passes, The Word of the Lord remains.
Sublime! I was introduced to this song by The Real Group (Stamning) and this performance is absolutely beautiful. 10/10
...Bedövande Vackert!🧡
I love the combination of relaxed poise and passionate engagement in this piece, and with this group in general.
Almost brought me to tears... I don't know Swedish more than my uneducated Danish will let me, but this is absolutely beautiful 😍
Chills. All the chills.
I love when they show off their impressive choral voices! Such amazing artists!
1:53 is one of the cleanest chords I've ever heard.

The rich dress of fresh green
has decorated the valley and the hills.
The flowers bloom in the meadow,
The wind delights the fields.
The sun's rays in the wooded valley,
The waving willows,
Announce the coming of summer.
The joyful birds sing praises
Of their happiness and the peace of summer.
From forest edge, from the silent nest
Their songs ring out.
