This one video unlocked so much for me. I just spent about 2 and a half hours pausing, rewinding and replaying the different sections over and over...found myself grinning like a madman and finally I'm able to play the progressions I hear in my head! Honestly man, your presentation style and video editing make these concepts so accessible. I've bought your Udemy course now and I'll be studying with you for a while. Many thanks brother 🙌🏾

Very good.... The proper way to have a added notes to a certain scale or modes are?... Example 1)Major scale? The intervals of of the diatonic scale ate? 1-2-3-4-5-6-7...There 7 kinds of voicing chords.. 1) 1-3-5=major chords, 2)1-3-5-6=major 6th chords, 3)1-3-5-7=major 7th chords, 4)1-2-5=suspended 2nd chords, 5)1-4-5=suspended 4th chords, 6)1-5=power chords, 7)1=tonic note,.. A very simple notes added to the basic major chords which is the major scale or ionian mode... Thank you...

Also known as Gospel & Jazz, I play piano and those are the tones/ textures I hear and feel most. Glad to see someone is teaching real music and not just cpu. And if we/u do play the 5th we start playing 1/2- whole diminished chords which are tasty the whole " tension & release" thing. Love your channel
