Simply Stamping Sunday: Painted Lavender and Simply Said, Week 3

- Welcome to my Sunday, May 26, 2024 Facebook live, Simply Stamping Sunday. In this series, I will be sharing cards that are created using only stamps, ink, and paper. Each month, I will be using the same stamp set and color palette. For the month of May, I am using the beautiful Painted Lavender Stamp Set and Simply Said Stamp Set. Each week this month, I will be using a slightly different color palette. For this week, I will be using Highland Heather, Gorgeous Grape, Lost Lagoon, and Pretty in Peacock inks and Highland Heather, Gorgeous Grape, Lost Lagoon, Pretty in Peacock and Basic White cardstock. I will also be using the gorgeous Designer Series Paper Perennial Lavender. Enjoy getting back to the basics. After all, it begins with ink and paper!
Cardstock Measurements:
Card One:
Lost Lagoon Cardstock: 4 ¼” x 11”, scored at 2 ¾” and 5 ½”
Pretty in Peacock Cardstock: 4” x 5 ¼”, (2) 2 ½” x 4”, and 3 ¼” x 3 ¼”
Basic White Cardstock: 2 ¾” x 2 ¾” and 3” x 3”
Perennial Lavender DSP: 3 ⅞” x 5 ⅛”, (2) 2 ⅜” x 3 ⅞”, and 3” x 3”
Card Two:
Gorgeous Grape Cardstock: 4 ¼” x 11”, scored at 2 ¾” and 5 ½”
Highland Heather Cardstock: 3” x 9”, scored at 3” and 6”
Basic White Cardstock: 4” x 5 ¼” and (3) 2 ¼” x 2 ¼”
Perennial Lavender DSP: (I used all different designs)
(3) 2 ¾” x 4”, (4) 2 ½” x 2 ½”, and 4” x 5 ¼”

Wow! Those cards you showed are so unique, and so, beautiful! Love the fun folds you made today. I love the peacock DSP. That lavender pack was such a good purchase! I bought it because I loved the shades of purple, but when it came the peacock quickly became my fav! Should have bought more than one pack! LOL. I did love the watercolor birds, too! LOL. Hi, I’m from just outside of Hershey Pennsylvania. I’ve come across your tutorials and I’m really enjoying watching you stamp and create. My husband passed away just 21 months ago and I’ve finally found myself wanting to make cards again. I couldn’t in the beginning because he use to sit at the kitchen table with me and give me suggestions and simply enjoy each other’s company. So glad I came across your videos. Still can’t revert to the original ones I use to follow along with. Too painful so I’m joining you. ❤

I was making the Double Z-fold today, and I think you may want to check the measurement: (4) 2-1/2 x 2-1/2 inches. I believe it's (4) 2-1/2 x 4. Hope that helps 🙂
