There’s a lot I want to see, but mainly excited that we have actually have friendlies against competition that will be a real litmus test… that’s not always been a priority for USSF. I’m with Yuri on wanting to see playing time across the two games for all or most of the Center Backs and equal time for Balogan, Sargent and Pepi.
Agreed, Canada get praised for their friendlies against the Netherlands and France who are great opponents but I think it’s better to play against teams that we could face in the knockouts. Definitely better than Panama’s “tune up games” against Guyana and Montserrat in World Cup qualifying plus a friendly against Paraguay. It would be nice to see the CBs and STs split minutes but I’m not sure if Gregg will actually do it, we’ll have to see.
Did watch the game, in fairness Canada looked ok in the first half but in the second they were completely outclassed, similar to Uruguay vs Mexico. I’m still not out on Marsch as a Canada manager because I can see the players fitting the system well after they have more time to learn it, but they could be in trouble for the Copa America. However, their group is also very easy.

He's just on the left a little on paper, but you are right that he's not really putting the 10 in the real 10 place like it would be in a 4-2-3-1. I think a 4-3-3 is an inaccurate depiction of how the players are actually playing.
These predictions might end up making us look dumb, but since it’s a friendly and both teams will be experimenting a little I think it’s reasonable to say that USA could get a draw, maybe my prediction of a USA win was a little biased. Bro, the only conmebol team which is better than Colombia is Argentina. Colombia currently is a monster, you will get a better result vs Brazil and you will notice the difference. Historically Colombia is not a big national team at all, we are shit, only 1 america cup, but if we talk about present, we can easilly be top 6 or top 7 in the world.

Excellent point, it’ll be interesting to see how Colombia approaches this game because they usually dominate possession against weaker opponents, but hit their stronger opponents with effective counterattacks. Let’s see if they view us as a weak or strong opponent. Personally, I’m hoping they underestimate us so we can use their own tactic against them and be dangerous in transition.
