@The8BitNerd I'm willing to bet Batwing won't be around much longer. They could send over Nighthawk's parts and what's left of Firehawk, but FH's parts just sat there, so who knows what happened
you were actually correct about herschend investing in wild adventures. in september they announced water's edge boardwalk expansion. it will include new rides (no coasters), a show stage, eateries, games, and more. last month they also just opened their new safari campground.

@TravisBeaves Anything that leads you to say that? Beggars can't be choosers, they have spare parts and a decent ride in a bottom tier park, basically just keep the GP happy with Batwing staying. Just my idea
SFA is in a high pop area between dc and baltimore and this is an unreliable bad capacity ride which isnt the smoothest and the new and old SF chain has done stuff like this with nighthawk getting the new water ride great escape with bobcat and over texas with the dive going in also the chain seems to be giving some love at least more than before to the smaller parks

Buy Or Sell: Epic Universe will contribute to a turning point in which parks compete on the basis of increasingly-Universal themes (nature, stewardship, commonality, and timeless indigenous true history) instead of individual superlatives (aka the coaster wars) encompassing fictional backstories and adverse long-range environmental impacts.
I was the one who made the unlikely guess about SFNE getting a Powersplash. Like most enthusiasts, I was thinking in terms of ripping out Flashback and putting in something long and skinny in the combined plot, so it was "what's long and skinny?" Later on I was thinking maybe a Super Boomerang, but that was predicated on the one at Great Adventure opening up in a timely manner and being a success. Obviously, they chose to not rip out Flashback at all and put something compact in the Goliath space.
Well it depends on what they are going to replace Ka with if it is desasterous mistake. Yes it does attract some visitors but how many of them won't come if its gone compaired to how many will come if a new big ride opens. Also it was a bit of a maintannace nightmare so from that perspective it makes sence to scrap it. Now if they can start building (well demolishing it first is part of building the new one) early enough to have the new coaster a seizone earlier i can understand them pulling the plug now but i think it would have made more sence in announcing it would be gone after the next seizone.

Sell. Six Flags New England's only competition in the region is a ragtag collection of much smaller parks, whose advantage is that they're closer to the clientele and arguably have more of a family atmosphere. The company can ignore it for long periods of time without hurting it much, so they probably will. What I think it actually needs now is not a coaster but a major dark ride with some family appeal, which several of those smaller parks actually have! But I doubt that's coming any time soon.
@AirtimeThrills I really like your channel. I have two boys 11 and 9 who really love going to theme parks with me. I have gone to a theme park 30 this summer how did find time and have the discipline to make videos
Buy or Sell: for the next few years, Six Flags will continue to remove multiple troublesome roller coasters and flat rides at once (ala Six Flags Great Adventure) at their parks.
Here's the thing about the American Heartland park: it's an hour away from NW Arkansas, which is home to Walmart, JB Hunt, Tyson... I think that's why it's getting built where it is. I'm honestly surprised Bentonville isn't getting a theme park. So, I guess, Buy or sell: Bentonville, Arkansas gets some sort of theme park by 2035.
Never ever ever ever underestimate the ability of Great adventure to do whatever they do. My goodness if nothing else they're good Internet fodder right now
Buy or sell: the Six Flags Great America go-karts will remain for at least a decade. I have seen, countless times, rumors or suggestions to remove them. They are on a great plot of land, theoretically. But they didn't get removed for the dive coaster. I don't think they're getting removed for a long, long time.
I’m low key kinda mad that Six Flags is scrapping Green Lantern instead of sending it to SFA. For eff’s sake, we’d take literally *anything* at this point.
I’m just saying as someone who lives half way between Great Adventure and SFA. You don’t want Green Lantern and if you did you’d want the floorless conversion, which you already have.

Well, now there’s only one Dutchman left.
I’ll use this opportunity to re-up my request for Buy or Sell: the Flying Dutchman model will be extinct in five years.
@The8BitNerd I'm willing to bet Batwing won't be around much longer. They could send over Nighthawk's parts and what's left of Firehawk, but FH's parts just sat there, so who knows what happened
