Great video. I agree about colors, online websites usually aren’t that great in depictions. That’s why for jigs, bladed jigs, spinnerbaits I started tying my own skirts. Now I buy BOSS jigs for bulk or shop clearance bins for whatever brand jig, spinnerbait because i just swap out skirts. Scooped up a bunch of Picasso swim jigs in their Tex max color because they were like $3 / jig.

Love these videos, not sure if you have ever tried the crushcity Freeloader (gizzard shad) I use it as a soft jerkbait in shallow water and it catches big & small ones. An amazing bait!
I have them, but I haven't used them yet.
Very nice video as always ! That Rick Clunn spinner... the blades remind me of Indiana Blades ...I used to use those alot as an " in between " of the willow amd Colorado blades for tea or tanic water clarity

Need to try an old bait from Yamamoto, the Fat Ika. Rig them weightless and backwards. I love throwing them on light line with a #2 dropshot hook, rigged under the skirt

As usual, great video! I’ve noticed that whenever you buy Yamamoto baits, they’re either larger than you thought they’d be or they’re smaller. Perhaps you should go through and order one bag of each size of all the different Yamamoto baits and keep them on hand as a reference! 😀 That way, you’ll never be surprised at the sizes of Yamamoto baits again! 😎

The original owner has a new lure company called Head Hunter lures. He is making it to the quality Rick Clunn had originally.
The St John color is the lure Rick won the Bassmaster tournament on a few years ago on St. Johns river including 2 over 9 pounds each !
