Paul Hogan is an Aussie Icon and always will be, just watching this brought back my childhood memories! Paul Hogan is a Legend and always will be!!!
he was bloddy funny
I agree, and im an American, but just to be from Australia, and put out blockbuster movies, like crocodile Dundee here in America, is quite an accomplishment.
Hogs was the best for real Australian comedy, after Kingsford country ❤❤❤
The Killer Koalas.
Great comedy from a great era. We Aussies used to be able to laugh at ourselves
I recon I was about eleven when this first showed up in England - cut the arms off my first shirt that night and became an honorary Bogan quicksmart .. .. . ...
Aussie version of Monty Python 😂😂😂
@@dancarter482 😅 really!
I'm was a kid too (a Brit). Loved Hoges then, and still do.
@@Mortthemoose There was _NOTHING_ like it anywhere - nutter in the sunshine having a giggle; and that GIRL!!
@@dancarter482 Have you seen the How to make a sandwich like you did when you were a kid sketch?
It's one of my favourites 😂😂😂 I watch one at least once a year 😁
It might be in this video, I don't know. I had to leave it part way through and go to bed.
Oh the memories! 100% Better than anything on tv today.
Loved this show, Paul Hogan was a real good laugh, this was a big hit in the UK.
Not far off the the young ones in a way haha all brilliant 👏 👌 😄
So was Benny Hill.
@@piratedaveyjones1903 I bet Benny Hill was big in OZ. They like to keep things nice and simple down there.
Used to watch this as a kid in the 80s whilst my mum and dad were down the pub! Long live Paul Hogan!
Alan Strom
Great parenting
Him and Norman Gunston, the golden era of Aussie humour 😊😊😊😊🇦🇺👏👏👏👍‼️
The Aunty Jack Show came b4 Hoges.
@@user-im5ee7yu5w 🤣😂😜👍 Aunty Jack was pretty wacky for it’s time 😄👍
Aussie Bleeder
Barry Humphries Graham Kennedy
Still cracks me up 35 years later!
haha. glad you enjoyed the upload!
I am an American and just found this. I can’t stop laughing. The Brits and Aussies are simply hilarious. I could watch them forever. But my sides would split from laughing so hard!…..8-) True talent.
An Aussie salutes you for acknowledging the brilliance. 😊
You do know that this is the Crocodile Dundee right?
oh no your republican talibans would ban this
@@mottthehoople693 No, you have the two parties confused. It is the leftist democrats Taliban that have a fit when snow flakes are offended. Which is over everything in history and even the difference between men and women.
We are not fans of vulgar stuff, but comedy is a universal language as long as you hit everyone. I thought Dame Edna was fabulous!!!!
I love something I heard said recently to a cry baby at a college republican event because they did not like the speaker. “Life is tough, get a helmet.”
This has nothing in common with any form of British humour.
Our cousins in OZ like to keep things basic and simple. Suits their mindset...
Delvine Delaney is absolutely smokin' hot and an absolute 100% Top Ozzy Chick. Such a sexist show but she loved it. Just look at the way she smiles, laughs and enjoys every minute of it. And we all loved it and her too. .......
Strop , you are one lucky bugger and we loved you too mate.
Cheers for the great memories HOGES and CREW 🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺
cheers for comment! glad you enjoyed the video
What a blast from the past!! The Paul Hogan Show never gets old; classic!
hahaa. yes its a blast. thanks for watching
Einer der Helden meiner Kindheit. Cooler Typ!
danke
Two thumbs up, great show!
Brings back some wonderful memories from the 80's.
The 70s stuff was my favourite..80s stuff was trying to hard to appeal to UK audiences
Fairly sure it started in the mid 70's
Anyhow........
@user-im5ee7yu5w
I was born 1970. I used to get up at 5 am. and watch 6 straight hours of Looney Toons on a Saturday. I was about 5 years old, it was the only time I really watched TV. We lived on a farm, so there was always work to be done. I used to get 50 cents for a couple of hours' work. It was a lot for a child in 1975.
I feel sorry for the kids these days living in condensed accommodation. When I wasn't at school or working, I would bush walk or go down the river with my friends and camp and fish ride trailbikes. I was 12 then, and the man's property, Kevin Yore, was hundreds of acres along the river. So we were safe from strangers. Some of my best childhood memories were down at our campsite. Many friends would party with us. We had 2 rules don't chase the cattle and don't litter, we never did. A couple of guys had $100 paddock bashers "old cars" plus trailbikes, so we had a lot of good times down there. It was only 2 km's from our property. One thing I remember was waking up at daylight hearing many different species of birds singing, which was beautiful, and the fog early morning.
What a great Aussie icon to our country man we can't help it if we've got a sense of humour🥰life is too be happy RIGHT?
Hoges, good old larrakin! we aussies have a great sense of humour and can laugh at ourselves! glad you enjoyed. thanks for your comment
Still remember the Donger sketch like it was yesterday - despite it being 40 years ago on C4!
Thank you so much for posting this. Years and years ago I caught a small portion of the Paul Hogan show and what I saw was freaking hilarious. Cheers.
great! Glad you enjoyed it! im currently digitising Roy & HG at 2000 olympics....will upload shortly
from a time when Aussies were allowed free speech and we had the best attitude in the world......still living in a place called australia but fu##ed if I know what's happened to the place....it's certainly not the place I grew up in anymore. Thanks for the great memories , Hoges !!
yes. agreed. glad you enjoyed
I grew up wanting to be you mate, just a knockabout bloke, thankyou mate👍.
one of the funniest shows ever .. never missed pauls show!!! the stunt man was too fkn funny
LOL!! yeh i like leo wanker too!! glad you enjoyed the throwback to comedy from back in the day! cheers for your comment
@@jwouldgo2531 Was out one day and saw this bloke with overalls on and my father and I were yelling out hey Leo
It's still going , never gets old haha
Gee... what ever happened to TV and comedy... this old stuff is gold. laughing at ourselves...
Can you imagine the karens today if they tried playing this on TV today!!!
Hi. think you got it in 1 with karens hahha. Hoges was gold! glad you are enjoying. i have some Roy & HG from 2000 olympics to digitise and upload. coming soon!
I remember this being aired in Ireland early 80's..yup, we loved it...when comedy was truly funny
Killing bugs with a shotgun....😂😂😂😂
great content, what memories, happy, happy days, thank you.
Glad you enjoyed it
Feck PC. That was good old school comedy.
This show was a hit in Ireland, We LOVED it here. I know some of it seems sexist but it was never nasty and the sexist guys always get their comeuppance lol
These bits are bloody comedy gold !!
Oh wow, didn't know Paul did comedy shows etc, only knew of him from Crocodile Dundee. Have saved this to my "watch later" play list. Cheers uploader!
Legend
Always a true classic, good on yu mate. Brought back some great memories 👌
Glad you enjoyed it
Brought back so many good childhood memories ! All we have now is bullshit, so called, reality shows. The political correctness wankers and "i'm offended" have completely ruined Australian comedy. I'm so glad I grew up when I did.
British comedy shows by the dozens, Fast Forward, full frontal, the Naked Vicar show and many more. RIP Comedy
Hi. glad you enjoyed and im glad found an old VHS tape to digitise! im looking to upload Roy & HG from 2000 olympics. they were a funny duo and no political correctness in sight either lol
I'm in the UK, but a glance at Aussie TV schedules (thanks, VPN) showed me you have the same stultifying mixture we do now-largely, reality rubbish. Paul Hogan's TV show was popular here. My wife and I watched the Australian "Colin From Accounts" this week-hilarious. The late Barry Humphries was loved in both countries, constantly jetting between them. So our senses of humour must be pretty alike. Barry said in 2014, _"I fear ... there are a lot of Australians these days who are totally bereft of a sense of humour. The new puritanism is alive, well and powerful.”_ That now-old puritanism seems worse 9 years on, here and in Oz, but increasingly, there are voices being raised against it. Sadly, many who do have a healthily cynical SOH feel it safest to keep it hidden.
Sadly the Americans don't want this sort of thing so they paid to have it removed so we're all on Google
Good to see this again, first saw the show in the UK in the early 90's ( i think) and is still brilliant!
Think it is time Hoges had a revival! Thanks for posting this :)
Glad you enjoyed it
Just what I needed!!! Back to good old fashioned comedy, bugger the political correctness crap!!!
quite a few pps think same! ha, glad you enjoyed
They were the days mate my bloody oath !!! Hoges Strop Delveen John Blackman and gang you little ripper
I was lucky enough to grow up in this eara being a 68 model was a 5 year old ankle bighter in 73 when it started to 16 year old boofheaded brickies labourer in 84 when it ended
What an absolute ballteara beauty bonza
And yes I had my brains thumped into me and it got me to where I am today !! Top notch speller of lots a stuff and all growed up how bloody blessed 🤔🙄👊
yeh, good comedy back then. cheers
8:20 - 10:07 = funniest parody of Indiana Jones (a precursor to Hoges' future role in Crocodile Dundee). Gotta love him meeting Humphrey B Bear!
As a pommie i would like to complain about part of this sketch. We poms dont spend our entire lives whingin and moaning 😂
yeh soz mate, was like a stereotype. when i travelled to england quickly realised its bollocks
@@jwouldgo2531 I was joking mate. Hoges had us Banged to Rights 🤣🤣🤣
😂😂
There's a brilliant skit from Bill Bailey on this.....the difference between the attitude of the Brits and Aussies. It's really funny.
No,but a lot of the ones who migrated to Australia did ..oh in England we have this and oh we have that and oh our muesli is much better back home and these crumpets just aren't the same and blah blah blah on and on ...now they've become Aussies so it's not as prevalent anymore like it was 60 yrs ago
As Aussie's, we realise that you only complain when you are awake.
I'm joking.
Bob. Australia.
dont know how this came up in my box BUT fing awsome briliant stuff and im a wingin pom thanks
I had almost forgotten him. It's been 45 plus years since I was down under.
well this was digitised from a VHS tape i found, reckon 35+ years old haha. hope you enjoyed!
Evidently some people thought this stuff was funny as shown by the American style laugh track. The thing I find most amusing is how much success P H achieved.
yeh, humour of that era! got mostly positive feedback but not really PC these days i get that. cheer for comment
He brought so many families together for a good laugh, what happened to those days?
....ohhhhhh that's right political correctness and cancel culture
yes, dont think this could go on air these days without a big hoohah! thanks for watching
Hoges tackling Humprey B Bear🤣🤣🤣🤣.
I forgot about that episode, so good.
What a funny old fellow, is Humphrey ...
When I was a kid growing up in the 1970's, _Here's Humphrey_ was originally recorded in Adelaide back then, so I was lucky enough to meet the bear "in person" at a local shopping centre - not once, but three times (between 1977 and 1979 with my mum who took Polaroid photos of the event). True story.😇
20:16 I remember this skit from when I was a kid.
ha! brilliant. me too. glad you enjoyed the throw back! lucky i didnt get any strikes from utube the ways things are these days!
@@jwouldgo2531 It was only a few days ago I was looking for that Mike and Mal clip. A bloody good upload and I got a few good laughs out of it. When Carin Pinni rides past and he throws that kid up into the tree....lol.
23 27 seconds ..missed opportunity to hold up 666 on the religious games score cards lmao 🤣
BRILLIANT! ⭐🤩Thanks for uploading.🏆 Best comedy ever. Nothing today comes even close.. Laughed so much. 🤣

Most welcome 😊
only a snow flake would be offended by the paul hogan show, i remember watching it as a kid and i bloody loved every minute :0)
The trouble is that the snow flakes may be in the minority but they seem to make the rules these days, which is wrong!
sadly that is true. but i'm not going to let some snow flake spoil my fun and entertainment, we love mr hogan and mr hill :0)
When comedy was funny...
you know that especially paul hogan and benny hill :0)
Yeah Paul Hogan is great
I didn't get too see this cause I lived in the states ..but this video is great ..and loved his crocodile Dundee movies..

Leo Wanker was one of Hoges best repeat characters

I'm a Brit, (Pommie 😂), and absolutely LOVE this ! The Olympic Whingeing medals all going to Brits... Brilliant !
😂😂. We ALL used to be able to laugh at ourselves and have the banter.
These days, ya can't say ANYTHING, or it's, 'this, that an the other'.
Sadly, we'll never see comedy like this being made again. They can't take away our memories of it though, OR our sense of humour, no matter WHAT they do.
I'll just have a 'whinge' before I go... 😉
The weather over here is STILL $#!TE !.. 😂😂
