Since Gura doesn't have total control over the whole "Predator trait" thing yet, her Gawr aspect was getting away from her. Reacting on a more instinctual level rather than thinking; hence why she could fend off Anya's attacks whereas Gura couldn't. And the moment Anya impaled her with that attack, Gawr just went into "survive or die" mode, and was about to try and kill Anya when Suisei kicked her across the arena.

Shes in berserker mode, most of the beast type holos have problems controlling their bestial instincts. Suisei's also similarly has a Suicopath berserker form but much more devastating and harder to control.
I have to admire your choice of cinematic takes. Yes, there's cuts, but you also maintained shots extremely well, showed continuous attacks without the extreme frame repetition of some surprisingly higher-budgeted official anime (for instance every A-TA-TA-TA-TA scene in 99% of fighting anime). That shows a passion for the project official studios rarely grasp. This was an AMAZING animation.

That was INSANE! Anya did so well keeping up with Gawr for as long as she did. You did exemplary in making Gawr so _terrifying_ my underdog-loving heart couldn't help but cheer for Anya the entire time. Alas, the predator's lust for blood was too strong, she didn't even seem like she felt any pain after taking all that damage. I hope Gura's fine after such a show. I wouldn't doubt Choco-sen's healing abilities, but Anya's attacks really feels like it might have left a worrisome wound, a scar even. And my god, can we talk about how much of a badass Sui is?! You did scarily well portraying the fight-craze in her with her hyping up the stuff that was going on, as if she was _this_ close to jumping down and joining in herself. Then, that smirk and sass at the end, I could almost feel her excitement after not using enough power to knock out Gawr in a single blow. _"This is going to be fun."_ She truly did earn her nickname of Suicopath. I also appreciate the Anya-Fubuki teases. I hope we can see them interacting one day, maybe having something like a Mentor-Student relationship? And last but not least, your animation keeps getting better and better! The camera movements, fluidity, everything! I was worried because there were no updates for a while, but I'm glad you're still around. Best of luck for the next one!

I was literally just thinking about this yesterday lol! Excellent video Kugeki! Well worth the wait. Loved seeing Gawr cut loose a bit, including how you gave her that Ripper Mode from Revengence flavor. Still, like I said in the first part, even more so now, I get the sense that the true Monster of Atlantis can only be seen when both sides of Gawr Gura fight as one.
Great job! I was looking for additional lore but found extra-shiny gold, the fanfic was pretty fun. Hype levels got me to rewatch everything and reread all the lore, better than I remember!
Magnificient animation as always, Kugeki! I already see everyone talking about the hit barrage from Anya near the end, but damn that Hunter of the Deep move deserves some praise for how meaty it felt, with the sfx running in perfect tandem with the animation. Also, always love reading the lore from the description and it's especially cool to see the stars having an appearance there as well every now and then.
Compare this to her sparring match with Ina and you can see how much the Gawr version amps up that one. Love the consistency. If I were to give a name, where the Gawr amped up version is Hunter of the Deep. The regular one could just be either Hunter Throw or could still be Hunter of the Deep but less potent

My personal belief is that Gura and “Gawr” are now in a Hulk situation, where letting the reflect out gives her more precision and power, but also makes her unstable. It’s interesting that she was able to tank a hit from Suisei that went for a knock out. If the battle continues we’ll probably see the power difference between Myth and the current Divas.
Personal headcanon for why she seemed to tank both Anya’s delayed attack and Suisei’s kick is because she’s got a heart of gold but a head of bone. She literally didn’t know those were supposed to incapacitate her, therefore they didn’t.

That's why even though Anya thought she was doing enough damage to knock her out, it wasn't. That amount of power would've been enough a moment earlier, but not now. Same thing for Sui. She thought the amount of power she used was enough to knock Gura out, and a second ago it probably was, but not now. If that's the case, then Red Gura might be a disaster level threat. I doubt that is the case though. That'd make her too powerful, and I don't think she's meant to be quite that.

Oh *boy* is this getting good. Honestly, Gura's reflection is always something fun to toy with. I've been making Myth in my homebrew D&D world, and Gura is such a fun character. Her normal form was made for control, having attacks to debuff and group enemies, but Red Gura... she was pure bloodlust. My own views on this aside, I love the animation! I always can't wait for each part, and reading the little shorts in the description always inspires me. Keep up the amazing work!
Amazing work, the feel and action of the fight is on par with some of my favorite battle anime. My favorite scene, of gura getting kicked and catching herself on her trident, gives me shivers. Keep up the amazing work!
Callbacks to previous fights where Gura's trident throw had a similar kind of edge to it. The smaller blue version seen in Ame v Myth and then here when it's amped up by the Red form into Hunter of the Deep. All nice touch.
Never disappoints with the choreography on their fights, everything looks simple but the fighting itself is amazing. Though I still am waiting for a cameo or scene where Aki Rosenthal appears, forgive me for always bringing this up even in the last video. I'm just really curious to what you can do with her as a character in this action world. Of course I'm not forcing anything since I'm just one of many watchers, I'm simply just hoping that maybe one day, I'll get to see her in action through your animations.
Another thought, if Anya is smart enough to dodge gura's vital and not kill her, she probably smart enough not to leave herself in vulnerable state, so Anya are either didn't see gura as a threat or she has some defensive mechanism that will save her life even if suisei didn't interrupt the fight
There are always openings made from any attack and Anya doesn't have any prior knowledge of Gura before fighting her. It was only a matter of time before Gura (Gawr in this case) found that opportunity. Plus it's the move. The setup for which needs a footprint (which Anya can track via her trait) for Anya to more accurately strike where she wants it to. The defensive mechanism is what you saw with the flying daggers.
I think the reasons Anya avoided Gura's vital were both bcs she didn't know about Gura's Gawr state, and bcs she thinks this is just a training fight and not a serious fight

Oh *boy* is this getting good. Honestly, Gura's reflection is always something fun to toy with. I've been making Myth in my homebrew D&D world, and Gura is such a fun character. Her normal form was made for control, having attacks to debuff and group enemies, but Red Gura... she was pure bloodlust. My own views on this aside, I love the animation! I always can't wait for each part, and reading the little shorts in the description always inspires me. Keep up the amazing work!
Amazing work, the feel and action of the fight is on par with some of my favorite battle anime. My favorite scene, of gura getting kicked and catching herself on her trident, gives me shivers. Keep up the amazing work!

Callbacks to previous fights where Gura's trident throw had a similar kind of edge to it. The smaller blue version seen in Ame v Myth and then here when it's amped up by the Red form into Hunter of the Deep. All nice touch.
Never disappoints with the choreography on their fights, everything looks simple but the fighting itself is amazing.
Though I still am waiting for a cameo or scene where Aki Rosenthal appears, forgive me for always bringing this up even in the last video. I'm just really curious to what you can do with her as a character in this action world.
Of course I'm not forcing anything since I'm just one of many watchers, I'm simply just hoping that maybe one day, I'll get to see her in action through your animations.
Gura seems to have no restraint in that state nor does it look like anything short of killing blow is stopping her.
The she got stronger part with just a few months of sparring is like a nod at the fact that Gura gain 1 Mil subs in a month

Another thought, if Anya is smart enough to dodge gura's vital and not kill her, she probably smart enough not to leave herself in vulnerable state, so Anya are either didn't see gura as a threat or she has some defensive mechanism that will save her life even if suisei didn't interrupt the fight
There are always openings made from any attack and Anya doesn't have any prior knowledge of Gura before fighting her. It was only a matter of time before Gura (Gawr in this case) found that opportunity. Plus it's the move. The setup for which needs a footprint (which Anya can track via her trait) for Anya to more accurately strike where she wants it to. The defensive mechanism is what you saw with the flying daggers.
I think the reasons Anya avoided Gura's vital were both bcs she didn't know about Gura's Gawr state, and bcs she thinks this is just a training fight and not a serious fight

Anya was still thinking it was Gura, just with an upped power level, rather than Gawr, which is essentially just personified bloodlust. It went from "serious sparring" to "life or death" the moment Gawr came out.
