About Morgott's sword: He's an "omen", a cursed being like the ones in the sewers covered in horns. Most of them are killed at birth but ones born of nobility are sealed away. The blood of omens has power, and morgott made a sword from his blood
love how you got 100k after godfrey runes and just went straight into the next boss fight :D huge rip. also, dodging isnt the only way to avoid damage, you can run, jump, outspace, even parry certain attacks on bosses, if you spam rolls the second you get hit then an enemy is going to hit you 99% afterward. There are also several massive problems with your build and playstyle that are hindering you to a significant degree, and if you ever figure them out then youll kick yourself for not realizing it sooner :D aint gonna tell you what though, gotta keep a first playthrough as virgin as possible!
Yeah look I’m not going to lie I know I’m quite novice at this stuff so I actually appreciate you saying this, I got to work on the spam rolls and learn how to parry for sure It’s such a shame my build isn’t good cause I spent ages on it and I thought it was amazing. It’s actually my second playthrough - my first was full intel build and I didn’t love it. It’s my first time playing a fromsoftware game so I don’t really understand all the levels to it yet.
@@enchantressemi parrying isnt a necessary skill, but its handy to learn in a pinch, your biggest problem is not spamming attacks/rolls the second you get hit or get an opening to attack. Great job on Morgott by the way! though its worth pointing out that Morgott and Margit are the same person, the one you fought in front of stormveil was just a projection of the real Morgott. the game is designed to punish people that parry/dodge/attack spam, and there are only so many ways you can get away with it without being completely lucky, i will say however, that you should learn to not rely on your weapon skill on the moonveil or attacking at long range with spells, it does a lot of damage, sure, but if you run out of FP then what are you going to do exactly? if you dont learn the core skills, then you limit your options to a staggering degree, leaving you to resort to spamming spells at a distance without really engaging enemies and playing Keep-Away, or being an L2-Warrior that relies on a strong attack to carry them, its kinda funny how the game coaxes new players into the same playstyle xD tonnes of entertainment there.
Okay so I got a lottttttt to learn basically 😂 haha I appreciate this thank you for the run down. I don’t feel like the Moonveil is strong enough without the power attached to it. I get how much cooler it looks to attack the boss at close range but I just don’t think I’m there yet however I will try to get closer now. That Morgott and Margitt think is tripping me out but makes a lot of sense 😂
Little spoiler 😅. That's not the only time you will have to fight Godfrey. You will see as you progress through the game. You are good. Wish you the best of luck for the next bosses 😁
