I'm not sure why, but I only like using these type of keyboards because when I type, I feel very professional and when I'm on a Skype call or something, I feel like it makes me look like I know what I'm doing.

when i was a boy i went to a local tv station with my father who was a volunteer, they had an old hard keyboard connected to their graphics machine. I remember hearing the sounds of the keys being pushed. It was very special. Relaxing. wish i had it back

BearHoldingShark I believe macs have chiclet keys which have some audible click but not as much as a mechanical keyboards. I guess the sound that's more pleasing is based on personal preference.
Macs have chiclet with membrane, which is usual. Mid height and full height keycaps usually use switches which is what gives mechanical keyboards keys that click sound. But yeah, different switches sound different, pretty sure the one used in this video has the most silent switches
now, I'm just kind of throwing this out there, but I think Cherry MX Whites make the best sound. I've looked up a couple videos on TH-cam to hear what they sound like, and they're not extremely clicky but not extremely linear either. I'm hoping one day someone will make an ASMR video with Cherry MX whites, but they're very rare.

+Galaxy68 Some of the loudest/clickiest keys are Cherry MX Blues. There are lots of boards that use them, and most electronics retailers will sell them. I'd recommend starting by looking up some videos with the Cherry MX blues and see if you like the sound.
+Galaxy68 I can personally recommend the Logitech G710 (not the G710+). it uses these wonderful, loud, clicky Cherry MX Blue keys that are so appealing to the ear and the fingers. I'm typing this message on mine right now as a matter of fact!

when i was a boy i went to a local tv station with my father who was a volunteer, they had an old hard keyboard connected to their graphics machine. I remember hearing the sounds of the keys being pushed. It was very special. Relaxing. wish i had it back

RickCorn FishCake Aren't Macbook keyboards nearly silent? And mechanical keyboards can have many different types of switches, which all sound different.
BearHoldingShark I believe macs have chiclet keys which have some audible click but not as much as a mechanical keyboards. I guess the sound that's more pleasing is based on personal preference.
Macs have chiclet with membrane, which is usual. Mid height and full height keycaps usually use switches which is what gives mechanical keyboards keys that click sound. But yeah, different switches sound different, pretty sure the one used in this video has the most silent switches

now, I'm just kind of throwing this out there, but I think Cherry MX Whites make the best sound. I've looked up a couple videos on TH-cam to hear what they sound like, and they're not extremely clicky but not extremely linear either. I'm hoping one day someone will make an ASMR video with Cherry MX whites, but they're very rare.

I don't know why, but this really helps me to study/focus on my university readings. This has become essential when I have to write essays. There's just something about it that makes me able to concentrate more on what I'm reading and not get distracted

+Galaxy68 Some of the loudest/clickiest keys are Cherry MX Blues. There are lots of boards that use them, and most electronics retailers will sell them. I'd recommend starting by looking up some videos with the Cherry MX blues and see if you like the sound.

+Galaxy68 I can personally recommend the Logitech G710 (not the G710+). it uses these wonderful, loud, clicky Cherry MX Blue keys that are so appealing to the ear and the fingers. I'm typing this message on mine right now as a matter of fact!

i've watched arms for a long time, but rarely get tingles. Idk they are just mostly relaxing. But this video is the reason I have not stopped watching asmr.
