Not buying it is not the end of everything and you can still do a lot of things with a phone you can afford. Ultimately, every product goes out of date and whatever edge an iPhone supposedly offers does not last for very long. Your work and creativity will not really suffer from not being done on a phone that, for all its craftsmanship, is still only a phone.
