Hi Faatimah , I have convert Cups into Grams for you. Hope this could help. 2 1/2 cup = 316 g Plain flour 1/2 cup = 118 ml Warm Water 1/4 Cup = 32 g Shredded Cheese.
Hello, thanks for this one but i have few questions though: :D 1. Can i make the dough at night and let it rise the whole night before using it in the morning? If yes, should i keep the dough in the fridge at night or simply leave it somewhere in my kitchen? 2. Actually, in my locality the yeast available says that it isn't necessary to get it activated. So, can i mix it directly into the flour or should i still dissolve it into the warm water and sugar before like you did? 3. How many degrees (Celcius or Fahrenheit) and minutes it requires to bake in the oven? Thanks in advance! And wishing you a Happy Ramadan Mubarak.
Hi, 1. Yes you can do that. You Could do both but I would personally suggests to keep in the Fridge overnight. 2. If You got the Instant yeast, It has more fine texture and it can be mixed right into dry ingredients. 3. The Most Important Preheat the Oven On the Highest Temperature, Mine was 240 C . When it's about time to bakes lower the heat on 180 degrees Celsius and it should take about 10 to 15 minutes, Depending of the size of your dough and your Oven. Hope I could help. Ameen. Ramadan Mubarak to you and your Family.
For my option, the level of moisture in the oven is an important factor in achieving proper results when baking bread. Moisture, in the form of steam, allows the bread to form a thin, golden crust while allowing the interior to remain soft and moist. And Why Hot water, Because i don't want to drop the temperature of the oven.
+Cuisine Mauritian thank you for this clear explanation. actually preparing it now. still have the below queries. 1. can i add herbs to the flour? 2. since i will be having it tomorrow for lunch, can i prepare the bread tonight or i should wait for tomorrow morning? or i can add filling in bread and then i keep it in fridge and tomorrow morning i just bake? thank you
You are very welcome :) 1. Yes you can 2. Yes You can bake it today, But you need to keep in the fridge to prevent it from going off. But for me personally I prefer fresh baked bread.
+Cuisine Mauritian i made it last week it turned out yummy i made it early in the morning n it tastes same even at night. simply at 1st batch the bread stick to te parchment paper 2nd batch i greased it slightly thank u very much.

I hve one questions while baking bread in oven we shud bake wid both rods on bottom and top or only bottom one plz clear i m in gr8 confusion
During preheating, both elements heat up, but when in baking mode, all the heat comes from the bottom. So I would suggest you to put in the bottom.
