Thank you sir for recording this. It’s encouraging to me that you’ve been able to lead a normal life for so long. I’m 34 and found out 1 year ago about this disease. We have our second baby on the way and I’m very focused on making it long enough to watch my babies grow up!
He was very lucky to have the second transplant. I also have Alport, my kidney failed when I was 23 years old, I had a kidney transplant then which lasted 10 years and I have been on dialysis for 3 years. Unfortunately, I can no longer do the second transplant because I have a lot of antibodies. I can't stand dialysis, I have high blood pressure from 18 to 11 to 24 to 14 when I had panic attacks. Now I am 35 years old. We go forward as God allows us.
