Both are mote or less the same... Swara jathi will have lyrics in the composition where as in jatiswaram and swarapallavi have only swaras which is part of practice lessons (sadhana)

Your voice is very mellifluous. Hindolam is the one of the most likable ragas to me. Though I don't know big classical music, I effortlessly sing any Annamacharya krithis in Hindolam.
I can do some manodharma also.
Doubt is how to remember the swaras in pallavi, anupallavi and charanams of the this swara pallavi, just get by heart like sarali,dhatu,janta swaras and alankarams (third speed it's a bit difficult to manage to balance swara thala and track completion of avarthanam, if not to continue to repeat from the beginning in some alankarams or to continue from pa,ma gapa to closure) ??

Its a bit confusing for me when Hindolam is written as Hindola, because I have to investigate if North Indian Hindol is being referenced.
