Loved the fact that you did a blind reaction and you picked the perfect song for it as well! Watching the impact of her voice and writing is like reliving the first time I was blown away by this song. Can't wait to see her live for the first time next month! 🤩😍
Thanks so much for doing this, Anna! Like you, Faouzia tries to put a cinematic flare to the songs she writes. She describes herself as a bit of a drama queen, and it shows in her performances.
I’ve been a fan of hers for 2 1/2 years and this is still one of her best songs and performances. I enjoyed your reaction, as usual I learned a lot from you. I’m glad to watch you again because it’s been months since I’ve seen you. I just had to come and see your judgment on my girl Faouzia.
Fabulous, Bravo, a very mature performance and specific use of vocal techniques. Thank you once again for introducing an amazing artist. 👏 Good content Anna, you always brighten my day with your obvious passion for good music and vocals. Have a great weekend!

Another great reaction and analysis Anna. I can enjoy the music on my own but your comments make me appreciate the hard work even talented singers must put in to make a song enjoyable.
At last i have heard Faouzia. She is incredible and i am so glad to see you bring to light her many attributes. I enjoyed seeing your surprise as she started to sing. There is no delay in your thoughts and emoted response. So to watch you as you experience the singing is a big help to notice brilliance before our very eyes. I am a new fan of this remarkable artist. Thank you very much Anna, you are making a difference in my ever changing interest. Metal always but also a talent seeker as well. Cheers
Anna, once again, thank you sooo much for this!!!🙏 great analysis!!! Certain things that I would never noticed if you hadn't mentioned...in the "again" part...where she goes straight to "n" as if she was "cheating" daaang!!! Gordon does the music repertoire...obvious "BAD DREAMS" will be the 1st😎😁 THANK YOU ANNA💛
Hi Anna, I'm already looking forward to know your opinion of Faouzia, for me, one of the most talented young women on the international scene, with a beautiful voice and tremendous agility. If we add to that the fact that she is also the composer of her songs... hats off to her. I hope to be at the premiere to support you and encourage you to continue with your channel, because your videos have provided a lot of interesting information, and your sympathy and good work has made many of us smile. A big hug from Spain
I also love Faouzia a lot Javier. Multilingual (english, french, arabic), songwriter, composer, and she even recently graduated major in a computer enginnering university. A pure genius.
@@ericsicard910 I'm not sure if she's graduated yet, Eric. She may have put the studies on hold for a while to try to gain back some traction in her music career after the COVID disruption. Will you try to see her when she's in Paris in July?
@@ConradMacMillanher official website claims she is a « a computer-engineering major at the University of Manitoba. ». Maybe I mistranslated the word major here. No July does not work for me. I have some conflicts. And Javier and I have another concert in october : Lara Fabian. Lol
To be successful singers have to create their own unique performance image. In that respect Faouzia is like Lara Fabian and Diana Ankudinova (also Amy Winehouse). Faouzia offers power and drama over a wide vocal range. I love her singing.
Not really my sort of thing but it doesn’t stop me appreciating her performance; it was pretty much amazing! I liked the detail you went into for her techniques, your singing was nice - it would be really good to hear you singing something! 💖
Hi Annabella, I am happy you entered Faouzia world, not all capital performances but surely she has a lot of aces in her sleeve and when she do it there is many things going on, two over the others: personality and originality! You are correct saying you could speak a whole day about techniques used by Faouzia singing and underlining all is done just to emotionally overwhelm the listener! It was my pleasure observe marvel on your beautiful face in front of the lyrics and delivery Faouzia made here in "Tears of gold". Thank you. Bye Freedom everyone
For future Faouzia reactions, I would suggest to just go to her TH-cam channel, find the live stream of her live show from the Burton Cummings theatre and just react to each song one by one, ending with her masterpiece Elon, which is after the credits. The show is just a pianist and her vocals, so you get the best version to analyze, plus all the songs are 🔥.
Thank you for this wonderful reaction. I told you she will blow your mind. Now I am sure you are going to listen to her performance in private and admire her even more. However, you can also choose to share your reaction with students over the world and her fans. Try always the stripped version of "you don't even know me", "The mountain", "Elon", or what ever you think may help appreciating music and talent from around the world.
wow... amazing analysis ... yes Faouzia was born at Casablanca (very international City of Marokko) - moved to Canada wenn she was 1 years old funfact she even was 19 years old wenn this was recorded - she speaks french, english and maroccan arabic this is her most versatile song in stripped her most versatile song all over is maybe the Original of 'Hero' her best interduction is th-cam.com/users/shortslsdTjCx7xVU?feature=share her productions where always very good but still improved her New Prequel of her 2nd Album is out since 19th of May 22 with 8 amazing Tracks if you want to make a bigger voyage i would suggest the song 'Hearts Grave' and 'this mountain' for the start or there are some versions of her song 'bad dreams' one of her songs she is still singing and chanced of the years... she wrote it when she was 14 years old and finished it first when she turned 15 ... and where on 2 different radio 'live streams' also be found on TH-cam in an interview she told 'there where times when i was obsessed to sing' ... now she really loves to sing ... she starts getting much more famous on TikTok - there are some best of TikToks of her on TH-cam also ... and there are some amazing covers of songs where she really made the songs her own - 'middle child' a rap song .... and 'Blue (da ba di)' are maybe her most impressiv one... but all are outstanding...
This is not my favorite Faouzia written song, but I think it’s her best. This video was from when she was 19 and was preceded by a pop - dance version and snazzy music video. I really like her cover of “Slow Dancing in a Burning Room”. But “Blue (Da Ba Dee)” is her most creative cover. ✌🏽
Anna you just discover our Queen morroccan canadien Queen Singer songwriter piano player.. with an insane vocal range ... Just react to Elon from her... By the way she use quater arabic tone that make her songs so unic
I had to relisten to this reaction again. This second time around I found myself more impressed with your analysis and knowledge. You seem very forthright in your thoughts to vaocal reactions. I hope you get to this confidence skill in your vlogs if you interview more concert artists. Best to you.
This was one of the coolest reactions to this amazing song and artist. I loved everything about. I found me a very special, adorable, and on point vocal analyst. I loved every second of this video. Thank you ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Hello Anna! A very interesting modern-style vocalist definitely! Faouzia is this good at just 21 years! Imagine how much better she can be technically and musically as sha matures. You can definitely hear a lot of influences in her vocals. Strong ethnic foundations in her ornamentation (like Dimash), runs, agility between her registers; a strong belt from the divas (you mentioned Demi Lovato; maybe?).Also good use of dynamics in going soft. breathy tone, mix belting, switching to head, etc.; To your point about the elongated "n", that might be some gospel influence (maybe?) since they elongated consonants at the ends of phrases. I do feel that at the 2:00 point her F3 note on "cause" at the end of "because of me" wobbled a little. Not sure if it was the quick changes to that breathy note on " rich" just before or her using fry at that point for effect. I noticed it again later on at 3:07 - 3:09 so maybe the note is at the bottom of her effective range (she might be able to go lower still). I hope she can keep working on strengthening her lower notes. When she's stronger there, she won't necessarily have to use the heavy dropping of the larynx, which I think only makes the navigation a little bit trickier. Then she could just stay on a neutral larynx (maybe with slight movement), still hit the note, and thus be even more flexible back up. I know it's a stylistic choice on her part but I feel it's also because of those F3s being near the bottom of her range. All this being said, she's an exciting singer with loads of potential to chart regularly. Continuous working on her craft will serve her well.
Wonderful voice. I really loved this! Her range, and of course control, is amazing. She is pretty new for me, never heard this song, but I need to check out more of her. Lovely reaction, my sweet Finnish friend, your voice is also a voice I like to hear 😊 Stay safe and well, Anna, much love from 8700 km away 😊💖
"Elon" is another very good stripped song by Faouzia. Of her pop song videos, I prefer "Puppet" for the Tim Burton vibe but "Hero" has got a Barbie does Mortal Combat thing happening and "RIP, Love" is th current hot hit. "Minefields" with John Legend for a pop ballad. There are so many great choices if you want to go back to this well.
great reaction. being a proud canadian i like to brag about her. her parents moved from morocco to canada when she was one year old, she has won big world wide song writing contests in her teens, and is now just finishing her degree in engineering .what most listeners do not know is that she is a concert level pianist and violinist as well as being a phenominal singer.enjoy listening to more of her music.
I recently heard KD Lang sing "Crying" at a tribute concert for Roy Orbison shortly after his death around 1990. While already a Canadian icon this performance and her song "Constant Craving" made her an international star. It drew a long standing ovation and I think you would appreciate why.
Love your reactions Anna, have been sleeping on Faouzia, now catching up... Please react to her new song "Fur Elise" (live performance)" - Thanks a lot, you are wonderful! Peace and love from Bavaria!

So Anna, you are getting close to discover my trinity You found Lara, now Faouzia. Just missing Pomme and you will be perfect 😍 All 3 are total artists package (singer, songwriter, composer, instrumentalist,…), speak french and have a connection with Canada. And all 3 are very humble, genuine, down to earth women.
I have to check Pomme immediately with high expectations!!! I have no idea who is she. I have exactly the same concept and ideal for a female trinity of beloved singers but my second one (by stage age) is Cristina Aguilera! Are you sure I need to add a fourth one? Bye Freedom everyone

Very much with you @Eric Discovered Pomme just recently and: YES !!! Have NO objection regarding Christina @Roberto, she's special, too. Personally I definitly have Aurora also on my top-tier, don't mind she's Norwegian. From her covers I fall for "Life On Mars". Share her appreciation for David and love her playing that 'ancient' Fender Rhodes. And yes, Anna's reactions are among few bests I know - and I love her own singing. E.g. her "Antaisin kaiken" video contributed to my recent trip to (IMO wonderful) Finland. Stay all well 👍🤝👋
Thank you, Anna! Your reaction and review was about as good as Faouzia's performance, even reading subtitles! I hope you'll review some more of her work. I would suggest a live stream she did on Amazon a few weeks ago, where she sang some of her new songs: th-cam.com/video/nrgR8WQbolU/w-d-xo.html
Fauzia is simply amazing! Full of talent, hard workd and humbleness!!! ORGASM TO EARS!!!! Please, react more from her and please think about react to "DANELIYA TULESHOVA" a great young singer from Cazak she's very good as well! Nice video =)
Yes , she is morrocan in origin and living in canada , so she has middle-east riffs or vibes ... and pay attention .. she's 21 at this time but when she sang this song she was younger .. and she has a song when she was about 11 yrs old . I hope you to make more reactions to her songs .... and this is a like and subscribe for you cus your reaction is nice and interesting
I believe Faouzia is Moroccan-Canadian? She's remarkable for sure. For me, I have her down on the list of singers/musicians I greatly admire but wish they made music more suited to my tastes.
Oh, and do yourself a favor. If you can't believe she can sing at this at 21 (she was 19 at the time this video was made, but anywaaaaaaaay), search for her "Mes Cicatrices" video here on TH-cam. It was made around her 16th birthday. You can thank me later. ;)
Hola Anna. Disfruté tú reacción. I really enjoyed your reaction. Faouzia is uniquely special. She has some great songs and her voice is really enjoyable. Would you please react to Diana Navarro, "El Perdón" - (official video). Something different for you. She's a Spanish singer. Incredibly emotive. A song about her husband doing her wrong. She sings about forgiveness, but not from her. You'll become addicted to her voice. Olet hämmästyttävä. Ihanaa päivää.
You should definitely check her other stripped songs (You don't even know me - bad dreams - how it all works out) and Also her live performance of Elon and desert rose. Your mind will be blown away more than it is now.
I have searched for you on FB and cannot find you. I saw your short where there will be a giveaway, and I would love a chance at it, but I typed your name in correctly and no results found. What to do? I do not do IG. Just FB.
'cause her name has Arabic origin, I'll try to help you pronounce it: FAW-ZIY-YA There should be (stress) on the letter (y), that's why I wrote it twice... I hope I helped! :)
I know every inch of this song so I watched your face instead. I love your mannerisms and your facial expressions. They crack me up. BTW: you somewhat ruined "Je suis malade" for me. LOL. I cannot listen to it without hearing you go "chanteraaaaaaaa", with that happy voice. It's such a sad song and now I find myself smiling like a ninny towards the end of it every damn time. THANKS A LOT. Hahahaha. I hadn't listened to this song in a while, so thanks for the reminder. It's been on my piano bucket list for a while, so I just figured out the chords for it last night, not that it was a big challenge. I'm not sure if I should sing along. Afraid my neighbors might kill me. :)
So so sorry to take this long to get back to you! Thank you for your feedback, you always pay attention to the smallest of details don't you! :D YOU crack ME up! P.S. Chanteraaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
I guess I am an old soul or a grouch. I appreciate singing, [ Have been in Bands as a vocalist and play bass guitar ] but this is too much for me. Her voice is good enough just to sing the song normally and it would be great. So many singers these day's feel they have to have a gimmick or scream or vibrate instead of letting there voice stand on it's own. Too many try sounding or use the same style of singing as others do. I look for unknown, beautiful voices and have found many! Yet no one will react to them let alone listen. I did get a Swedish reactor to listen to this young Lady singer I found and he went nuts after listening to her. An Australian reactor did also. I guess if your just a terrific singer these day's no one wants to listen unless they have some sort of gimmick or darkness to them. That said, Anna, I do like your reactions. Your fun, intelligent and a great singer yourself. Since I seem to be a downer here I will leave you be and hope the best for you in your career and your channel.
Hey, I really enjoy your videos! I wanted to ask if you would like to react to some more songs from The Hu, the Mongolian band you listened to a long while ago. Their newest released song is This is Mongol" and it is one of my favourite ones of the band. Though "The Great Chinggis Khan", "Black Thunder" and "Yuve Yuve Yu" are also really great. There is also a bit more vocal variety in those songs whereas "Wolf Totem" was a bit more... monotone if that is the right word for it. Also it amazes me how quick and easy you can switch between Finnish and English. I speak both my native tongue and English without problems but whenever I want to quickly switch between the two my brain and tongue get confused. :D
Hi, good to know you appreciate my content so much! 😊 Finally The Hu is gaining some more votes, I hope it'll get some more so I can react to them sooner! hahah I'm glad you like my switching 😂 it just falls out of me I guess! What is your nativelanguage then?
Great job with your reaction and analysis of Tears Of Gold from Faouzia . Anna if you want to check out a great cover of this song l would suggest Checking out Daneliya Tuleshova cover it's Amazing.

I agree. Danielya Tuleshova does a nice version & from the same country as Dimash Qudaibergan
I must thank Daneliya to let me know Faouzia and considered it one of the best performance of Tuleshova, until I take a chance to check this "arabic" that made such a good song, it was first time I do not prefer Daneliya's cover!!! Bye Freedom everyone

👩🏫 Check out a brief clip of the song "RESURRECTION POWER" from "The Acapella Company" (they teach people how to sing and are having a "sing along" next weekend, but I am not sure if it will be on line this time - it is a Non-denominational group made up of many Christians from many churches) - I already gave you a list of 7 songs in your last video! 😇 In Galatians 5:1, the Bible says : "It was for FREEDOM that Christ Set Us FREE, Therefore Keep Standing Firm and Do Not Be Subject Again To a Yoke of Slavery!" 👼 Anna, sometimes We Can Judge a Book by it's Cover (because God has done it for us) and that is why God gave us "The Book" (The Bible) to do just that - it's called "Spiritual Instruction" to gain "Spiritual Discernment" (Guidance from the Holy Spirit of God) and we all need Him to "lead us"! 🦸♂️ May your evening be Free from worry and your heart full of song, from your Christian Friends in the Land of FREEDOM! 🗽

@@ericsicard910 yes, indeed
@@ericsicard910 I'm not sure if she's graduated yet, Eric. She may have put the studies on hold for a while to try to gain back some traction in her music career after the COVID disruption. Will you try to see her when she's in Paris in July?
@@ConradMacMillanher official website claims she is a « a computer-engineering major at the University of Manitoba. ». Maybe I mistranslated the word major here.
No July does not work for me. I have some conflicts. And Javier and I have another concert in october : Lara Fabian. Lol
@@ericsicard910 Yes, october will be a very great moment for me
To be successful singers have to create their own unique performance image. In that respect Faouzia is like Lara Fabian and Diana Ankudinova (also Amy Winehouse). Faouzia offers power and drama over a wide vocal range. I love her singing.
Thank you Anna for keeping up introdusing me to great music and artists.
As always, wonderful analysis and great commennts. 🤗
❤️❤️❤️🎵
Hi Anna, that was a great reaction and a great song too!!! She knows how to sing with emotion!!! Loved it!!! Take care!!!
❤️
Not really my sort of thing but it doesn’t stop me appreciating her performance; it was pretty much amazing! I liked the detail you went into for her techniques, your singing was nice - it would be really good to hear you singing something! 💖
Hi Annabella,
I am happy you entered Faouzia world, not all capital performances but surely she has a lot of aces in her sleeve and when she do it there is many things going on, two over the others: personality and originality! You are correct saying you could speak a whole day about techniques used by Faouzia singing and underlining all is done just to emotionally overwhelm the listener! It was my pleasure observe marvel on your beautiful face in front of the lyrics and delivery Faouzia made here in "Tears of gold". Thank you.
Bye
Freedom everyone
For future Faouzia reactions, I would suggest to just go to her TH-cam channel, find the live stream of her live show from the Burton Cummings theatre and just react to each song one by one, ending with her masterpiece Elon, which is after the credits. The show is just a pianist and her vocals, so you get the best version to analyze, plus all the songs are 🔥.
Hello beautiful Anna!Beautiful girl, sings great!Thank you, dear, for the excellent reaction!👏🌹🇷🇺
Tears of Gold is fantastic her voice is tremendous Faouzia
I cannot wait for this! I wish you were watching it today, I am so ready for it!
Thank you for this wonderful reaction. I told you she will blow your mind. Now I am sure you are going to listen to her performance in private and admire her even more. However, you can also choose to share your reaction with students over the world and her fans. Try always the stripped version of "you don't even know me", "The mountain", "Elon", or what ever you think may help appreciating music and talent from around the world.
wow... amazing analysis ... yes Faouzia was born at Casablanca (very international City of Marokko) - moved to Canada wenn she was 1 years old
funfact she even was 19 years old wenn this was recorded - she speaks french, english and maroccan arabic
this is her most versatile song in stripped
her most versatile song all over is maybe the Original of 'Hero'
her best interduction is th-cam.com/users/shortslsdTjCx7xVU?feature=share
her productions where always very good but still improved
her New Prequel of her 2nd Album is out since 19th of May 22 with 8 amazing Tracks
if you want to make a bigger voyage i would suggest the song 'Hearts Grave' and 'this mountain' for the start
or there are some versions of her song 'bad dreams' one of her songs she is still singing and chanced of the years... she wrote it when she was 14 years old and finished it first when she turned 15 ... and where on 2 different radio 'live streams' also be found on TH-cam
in an interview she told 'there where times when i was obsessed to sing' ... now she really loves to sing ... she starts getting much more famous on TikTok - there are some best of TikToks of her on TH-cam also ... and there are some amazing covers of songs where she really made the songs her own - 'middle child' a rap song .... and 'Blue (da ba di)' are maybe her most impressiv one... but all are outstanding...
That's awesome, 😮😃👍🏻👌
I had to relisten to this reaction again. This second time around I found myself more impressed with your analysis and knowledge. You seem very forthright in your thoughts to vaocal reactions. I hope you get to this confidence skill in your vlogs if you interview more concert artists. Best to you.
Always appreciate your thoughtful commentary Jim, thank you! ❤️
This was one of the coolest reactions to this amazing song and artist. I loved everything about. I found me a very special, adorable, and on point vocal analyst. I loved every second of this video. Thank you ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Beautiful colours and so skilled! Great analysis as usual. Another great artist wit a career worth watching! 😃👍

Hello Anna!
A very interesting modern-style vocalist definitely! Faouzia is this good at just 21 years! Imagine how much better she can be technically and musically as sha matures.
You can definitely hear a lot of influences in her vocals. Strong ethnic foundations in her ornamentation (like Dimash), runs, agility between her registers; a strong belt from the divas (you mentioned Demi Lovato; maybe?).Also good use of dynamics in going soft. breathy tone, mix belting, switching to head, etc.;
To your point about the elongated "n", that might be some gospel influence (maybe?) since they elongated consonants at the ends of phrases.

Thank you Toby! ❤️
Anna, you crazy beautiful Fin! I love the sing-song intro you give yourself!

I recently heard KD Lang sing "Crying" at a tribute concert for Roy Orbison shortly after his death around 1990. While already a Canadian icon this performance and her song "Constant Craving" made her an international star. It drew a long standing ovation and I think you would appreciate why.
Salute to you ma'am
You've done a great analysis
Thx! 😊
She was actually just 18 or 19 in this performance
Yup!

So Anna, you are getting close to discover my trinity
You found Lara, now Faouzia.
Just missing Pomme and you will be perfect 😍
All 3 are total artists package (singer, songwriter, composer, instrumentalist,…), speak french and have a connection with Canada.
And all 3 are very humble, genuine, down to earth women.
I have to check Pomme immediately with high expectations!!! I have no idea who is she.

I believe Faouzia is Moroccan-Canadian? She's remarkable for sure. For me, I have her down on the list of singers/musicians I greatly admire but wish they made music more suited to my tastes.
I love how you suddenly talk in English sometimes. Faouzia is one of my favourite singers so far.
I'm happy you like that since it's somewhat a core thing in this channel. 😂🥰
Faouzia is next level for sure!

Oh, and do yourself a favor. If you can't believe she can sing at this at 21 (she was 19 at the time this video was made, but anywaaaaaaaay), search for her "Mes Cicatrices" video here on TH-cam. It was made around her 16th birthday. You can thank me later. ;)
She can play a lot of different instruments, but she's really concert level at piano.
She pronounces her name FO-zia not Fow-zia. Her skills are shocking though.

Hola Anna. Disfruté tú reacción. I really enjoyed your reaction. Faouzia is uniquely special. She has some great songs and her voice is really enjoyable.

Ohh Scott I totally understand you and don't be apologetic over different tastes in music!
Thank you for your kind and thoughtful words. :) xx
