That is great. I am more of an electric player too but about 6 months ago added a classical guitar to my collection and I play that for about an hour a day on it. Fun but a different art form still wanting to see those fret markers.
@@muhamadfikrialargan2941 its the timbre and feel of the instrument change man its like playing acoustic vs electric but even its still completely different because classicals are made differently and have different strings and scale lengths
I made my own recording of this piece a few months ago, and really really wish I had have seen this interpretation before I learned it. Hands down the best interpretation I've ever heard for guitar (and I think I may have heard them all). Nobody plays this with the "piano-ness" that you do. I actually cheered out loud the first time I heard you play that run that starts at 3:03. Perfect.
You play with a astonishing sophistication. I especially like how you master the technique of the contrast between soft and strong modes to make the piece more personal and harmonic. Keep up the good work !
Phenomenal performance...I think you’ve reached absolute mastery over the guitar as well as other stringed instruments and it’s incredibly inspiring to behold! Thank you for sharing this with the world and keep up the good work.
Honestly, watching you perform is what keeps me going on learning the guitar. I get all sad and feel like I'm not going to be good, and then I watch this and think "one day, maybe I'll be this good." It makes me excited to keep learning because eventually, I might be able to play one of these amazing pieces.
You know, I used to know this on piano back in high school and seeing you play it, you move and wince and smile at all the same parts just because the song feels like that,. It makes me so happy to see, and listening I can say this is the best guitar version I've found. I've taken up classical guitar over the pandemic after giving it up in high school after only six months (arthritis and hypermobility made playing painful, but didn't know why then!) and finding this video has me dreaming just like I used to about "what I'll play on piano when I'm good". So lovely! Time to dream some more!
Just listening to Chopin makes me feel like crying. What he went through... What all the greats went through... I can't put it in words and some of them don't even have intact graves. We can only honor them with their music
I never knew guitar could be so emotive. Guess it goes to show a talented musician can really change the sound and feel of an instrument to fit any tone.
Gosh, this video continues to inspire! Each time I watch the video I remember why I love music so much & head straight to the practice room! Thank you for sharing, your TH-cam performances mean a great deal to me!
Brandon, I just stumbled across your channel the other day and I felt obligated to say that your talent and playing is just mind bogglingly awesome. You play exactly the kind of music that makes the universe shine a bit more brilliantly. There is still beauty in this world.

Brandon, it's really great to see you again!! This marvelous performance takes me to the heavens :-) I love Chopin (my favorite composer of all time) and this rich, warm, beautiful interpretation and performance really made my day! I am simply in awe of your mastery and your passion! Thank you! Take good care, ~Jackie
This is amazing! I love Chopin and this is the first time i’ve heard a piece of his on guitar, it’s so soothing. I started playing guitar a few months ago and I aspire to be able to play like this one day, hopefully in a few months or years I’ll be able to play something at this level. Thank you
I wonder whether this is still a heavenly talent or already devilish.....Omg! Cant make my day anymore without hearing any of your music...Thank you sooo much for sharing 💞💞💞
wow... You had impressed me with Erik Satie which I did not even think could sound good on a guitar... This time I was thinking Chopin could simply not be played on a guitar... Like "not at all". Incredibly melodious and touching. Bravo !
wow... amazing dynamics and the slight tempo changes were amazing. I definitely felt and heard the bittersweet of calm and anxiety in this performance.
I watch your videos and I'm somewhere between ' I can never attain this' and 'It's just a matter of good consistent practice'. Both inspirational and dream ruining at the same time.
you bring a bit of intensity not heard much in other videos for this song. Slightly faster tempo then most making it so you have to nail those chord shapes with percision. great work.
Wow I never knew I’d ever hear a guitar version of this chopin composition! I play the piano and this piece was already a little hard, I can’t imagine how you were able to play this with all those frets and notes jumbled together on that fretboard! It’s awesome! Guitar always overwhelmed me and people who can play them as well as you always impress me! Great work!
just started learning this today. I only hope to come close to how you play it. almost made me break into tears I hope i can accomplish that for someone someday.
Looks like a very difficult piece to crack. Look at those fingers stretching! Very good intonation of the melody . Chopin would be pleased. Good job sir!

Definetely the best guitar version on TH-cam.
Agreed!
Try to see the Fábio Lima's version.
Totally agreed!
See Fabio Lima's version! It's just amazing!
Ive already seen the Fabio version and is not even close to this version.
This video actually convinced me to pick up classical guitar after having played electric guitar for over a decade. Thank you!

Hahahahahahaha pretty accurate... It is almost scary.
I can see the striking resemblance to Miles Morales clear as day
Chopin is smiling and give a standing ovation up there, beautiful.

Don't stop uploading! Great hair also....
And great carpet!

I've never thought Chopin would be nice on guitar! Thanks for it, now I will learn it on guitar too :)
Roland Szadai lets be honest, Chopin would sound good played with a spoon and a wet dog
Rylan Hudson True
@stavros741 It’s also very musically challenging imo
that right aye?
Chopin will sound great even on a stone. He was the best (my opinion)

Baru tahu dlm setahun terakhir & lebih sering versi piano. Tapi versi ini juga sangat bagus & musik ini sering menemani sebelum tidur.

Chopin is my favorite piano player ever. I'd love to learn this song one day, im prepared for the challenge.
左手が美しい参考になります、テンポ感が素晴らしい、癖がない美しい演奏です。ありがとうございました。
This is absolutely lovely. It’s so nice hearing classical guitar, I feel like not many people are interested in it when the sound can be so moving
Man youre one of the cleanest guitarist that i have heard. Can i request a tutorial for this masterpiece?
Seconded! There are tabs for this on TH-cam but I would still love to see him do a walkthrough including technical tips.
I like the way you play your instruments. Most of the time, you look like you're listening to them like you would an old friend.
that's a nice job you did there Brandon, because I felt the way you kept the flow going whilst putting yourself in to it. It's a beautiful piece.
You can be so put in deeply feeling put in great players I love ❤️ very much thank you so much.
