So if anybody is hating about the Creed vibes, that was *_EXACTLY_* his goal and ffs, every damn Creed fragrance from the last 5 years has total shit performance and lasts for 2 hours max and isn’t worth more than $180 for 100ml’s

High Voltage is pretty similar to Aventus, just a good quality version. That's how it comes across to me and I've seen others say the same thing (I picked up on it more after seeing mentions elsewhere) Hard Candy is excellent though. Bought myself a full bottle of it! Only my third full bottle after Blood Orange and Adonis (although Guapo is actually my favourite)
Ah, I wrote this before I got to the High Voltage part and seeing that also compared it to Aventus! It's definitely good quality, not like a cheap clone, it's nice stuff. More towards the Hacivat side of things than the CDNIM side of things
Agree that Hard Candy was the better of the 2. It's so freaking happy and fun, but it has that underlying darkness from the oud and slightly dirty/metallic musks. Love it. High Voltage didn't remind me of Aventus; rather to me it seemed like a milder version of Haze where instead of the grapefruit in Haze, the focus was instead on lemon.. HOWEVER...my damn ambroxan sensitivity once again insists on ruining things for me so I can only smell it for about 2-3 minutes before I'm noseblind. So I never got to experience the dry-down and it may very well go in an Aventus direction once you hit that part of the fragrance...I just got "Haze Light" in the opening.
I have the same experience with ambroxan, I've been trying out Mont Blanc Explorer recently, after a few minutes I go totally noseblind, I don't smell anything in the drydown, yet everyone around me can smell it strongly and have received lots of compliments but I smell nothing. This doesn't happen to me with other frags that do not have Ambroxan? I didn't know ambroxan did this to some people
Great review bro! Huge fan of High Voltage! It took me a while to figure out what it reminded me of and then did a side by side with my fragrances, 100% burlington 1819 vibes ( without the cumin ) and a more fruitier PDM Percival 👍
High Voltage gave me Office for men & blue de Chanel edp vibes , while I don’t regret it , it wouldn’t be necessary to own more than one of those . Hard candy is amazing , my 50ml bottles leaked a bit of fragrance upon opening them for some reason which sucks but I still have fragrance left in them .
I know when it comes to the ATH house you're my main man to go to. For whatever reason, many just haven't gotten into this house. Maybe just a taste, but you took the dive.

Bought 50ml of both. Hard Candy is very sugary sweet, but I purchased it because the only other fragrance I have like that is ultrared. High voltage is definitely aimed for mass market appeal, but again is a quality fragrance that I'm glad to welcome into my small collection.
I get Strawberry and cream on the dry down with HC, however there is a reminder of Luna. As for High Voltage, this reminds me of mid 90s Boss - Hogo by Boss the clear bottle, deffo Aventus hints. A great fragrance
Ive just received full bottles of both HC&HV. My olfactive senses are still recovering from COVID and still about a 2/10. I can't wait to actually get to smell all these fragrances have to offer

I just got 10ml of hard Candy. It is strong! I really like it. 3 sprays is almost too much. I'm completely enveloped with the scent right now. On my skin it projects like crazy! I'm going to buy a full bottle
