お疲れ様です。
　最初に破裂したコンデンサが原因だったのかもしれませんね。コンデンサはほぼ入れ換えみたいな感じですね。

僕はまだまだ修理は未熟です(;´д｀)
耐久テストを抜きで、作業時間としてはこのセガサターンで4時間かからなかったぐらいだったと思います。

Hello all, I have a saturn with a strange problem. I tried searching the forums but, no luck.
When playing a game, the colors get all wacky and sometimes flicker to black and white. I thought it was a bad video cable so I bought a new one but the issue persists. I tried wiggling the cable to see if it's a bad connection but nothing happens when I move it around.
The weird thing is that when I play a game the color screws up depending on where the character is on the screen. For example when playing sonic, if I move the character to a specific spot, the colors seem to be fine. If I take a couple of steps forward, his hair color will turn from blue to green. If I move away from that spot, the blue comes back and if I go back to that spot - green again. Sometimes a certain area will cause everything to go black and white or all green etc.
Has anyone else ever come across this? Is it a bad video chip or bad memory? Any help will be appreciated.

Thanks for watching. There are a few possible reasons for this failure, but we won't know for sure without actually inspecting the product. However, I believe the capacitors are the culprit. The Sega Saturn uses SMD capacitors, but looking at the model year they are past their lifespan. The capacitors are the prime suspect.
