Yeah, I have two cats and in those videos, 90% of the time, I said out loud "ho girl, you about to get smacked", I mean as an owner you should be able to know what to do or not do.

i spend per week approx 3 hours on 2 cats, this includes everything. feeding, grooming, cleaning the litterbox, cleaning their asses and genitals after being on thelitterbox (they lick themselves and then wanna lick me, so i clean their private parts so that they dont have to lick there to clean it ) and playing. 3 hours.
if i have a dog, i gotta walk it at least twice a day for 30 minutes so that the dog can get enough exercise. thats 1 hour per day, on just walking the damn thing. thats 7 hours per week of only walking the damn dog. one little thing for the dog, takes up more time than me taking care of 2 cats in 1 week!!!!!
can you explain why cat people are controlled by cats? you cant, because its not true, if anything, dog owners are controlled by their dogs. they litterlaly have to adjust their whole lives for their dogs. i dont have to chagne shit for my cats, they simply learn over time what my boundaries are and act accordingly. dogs? it doesnt matter if i beat the fucking mutt to an inch of his life for coming to me for MY food. it will still come back for food. how stupid is that? i constantly have to correct this useless dog because it doesnt learn anything. it only cares about FOOD. dog owners are FOOD DISPENSERS.

I had a close friend called Hugo-a mature male Burmese. He was the gentlest, most loving cat. He craved being very close to you, whether riding your shoulders or snuggling. He was a brilliant ratter-but with people he never hinted at scratching, nipping or any other aggression. I miss him so much. Have just adopted a needy female kitten :-) she is so full of energy, inquisitiveness, caution and intelligence :-)

I have a male cat off the street he has swatted and cut me. Never hissed. He's a spicy, sassy, long haired void. 😂 Being that we took him in he had no owners per se, he didnt like much physical affection at all sadly he never got it young and is still very distant.

But nobody tells you this. I recently got a cat, who is very affectionate but also has anxiety. She’ll be snuggling with me hear a sound or see a sudden movement and then go bananas. NO-ONE, not a single one of the cat guides I read mentioned a thing about how to not irritate a cat. I hate this mentality of “oh these people deserve it, of course a cat would do that.” When there is so little education and awareness out there on how to prevent this from happening. Like it’s just common sense, it’s not. A lot of people take it for granted that someone either educated them or they learned at a young age.

A cat doesn't give a shit. If not being a butthole to your cat is something you need to be taught, that's a you problem and your cat is probably going to provide you with some lessons.
As for the anxiety, yeah, a lot of animals don't like sudden noises and movements they haven't identified. That is still pretty basic cat info.

In all my years of having at least 10 cats throughout my life, NEVER have any acted like this toward me. I respect their space and wait until they've been around me, for as long as it takes. Cat's are good at sensing if you have their well being at heart.
Most of these slaps are just educational. When the parents fail to raise their kids, the cat has to step in. 😂

Fun fact: Staring / glaring at cats give them a sign of hostility, thus if they feel threatened they’ll attack. Instead, look at them with softer eyes. Blink at least once or twice gently as these are signs of affection. They’ll return you with a blink if they trust and like you enough. 😸

As a proud cat mom to 3 very well trained and well behaved cats I am genuinely concerned as to how these cats are so aggressive. They only get aggressive like that if your a jerk to them and don't respect their comfort or space. This is more a compilation of bad cat parents.
These people were mostly horrible but to be fair my cat will approach me with the intent of just messing with me, he's a prankster and rabble rouser by nature.

I have 2 cats, one has been with me since kitten, and walks on a leash without issues whenever I take her for a walk. My other cat has been abused before I got him. He sometimes will bite or swipe at me for no reason. But I don't get mad, he just reacts to what he remembers. It took a while, but Now he sleeps on my bed, cuddles with me, and follows me everywhere. Occasionally he still bites but I just take my hand away and he looks at me as if he is sorry. He just has ptsd, but is my buddy nonetheless. He just needed a good home.

My cat would never actually hit me like that.

As a teenager back in the sixties I had these two brothers I was friends with. They also had a sister who I briefly dated. Although she was hot I ignored her because I was friends with her brothers, but she kept coming on to me so I gave in briefly with her brothers blessings and they said no matter how it turned out we would still be friends. She wanted me to take her to her senior prom and I did. I think she just wanted to show me off to her girlfriends. Her whole family wasn't hard to look at and neither was I. Our "relationship" lasted a few months and then she moved on with my blessings. Well anyways they always had a cat around the house as well as her pussy.
One time they had this one cat that I can tell didn't like me and kept staring at me and trying to decide whether or not it wanted to attack me. It would even position itself from places where it could leap at me and always looked like it was ready to jump on me.
I told the guys that if they didn't get that cat out of the room, I was leaving.
They thought it was funny and that I was kidding. I wasn't, and got up to leave.
They stopped me and put the cat in one of their bedrooms and closed the door.
Eventually they got rid of the cat because other guest also complained about it.
@@im1who84u No you wouldn't. Dog jaws are much stronger per square inch. Cats bite down until they can't anymore. Like a puncture. You have clean it immediately to avoid infection. Dogs bite and tear. I saw my cousin when I was 10 and she was 12 get bit in the face by a dog. 36 stitches, 6 surgeries and facial sandings.

As a grown man, I'll still take my chances with a dog. I understand them better than cats.
Aggressively scream as loud as I can, shout common commands to them with a loud and adhortative voice telling them to sit, stop, go lay down..., make myself look big and lunge towards them, grab their two front legs and pull them down hard, grab their ears and pull them off if you have to, kick, bite, punch, screaming as loud as you can (in their ear if possible), crush them with your body weight, and I usually carry a pocket knife, pepper spray, and a firearm with me anyway. I am former law enforcement and it's just a habit.
Here's a true story.
As an older teenager back in the late sixties, my friends and I went to a junk yard to pick up some cheap car parts.
In this junk yard was a chained up German Shepard that kept viciously barking at us as we tried to talk business with the guy running the place.
If that dog wasn't chained, he was ready to put us on his dinner menu.
Then my friend finally got tired of hearing this very vicious aggressive dog barking and pulling at his chain to try and get at us.... and he yells very loudly at the dog to go lie down. The dog stopped barking and looked at him kinda puzzled. Then my friend yells at the dog again and strongly points to him, walks a few steps in the dog's direction and tells him again to go lie down, you heard me, go lie down..... and the dog very sheepishly goes and lies down!
The owner got a little embarrassed when this happened. The rest of us snickered.
@@im1who84u Thank you for sharing that. I was standing right next to her. It was my uncle's Visla. He just completely unprovoked jumped up and bit her in the face. Ripped her mouth open. It didn't make either of us fear dogs. But that dog should have been put down. He later bit my grandmother. My first cat I got as a really young kitten that was way to young to be taken from her mother and was aggressive, Maybe even played with too roughly. I got bit many times in 18 years.
21 years had our 2 cats, not once did they show any sort of aggression towards anyone at any moment, they were the best kitties ever, we miss them so much 😔

Also, the cats are only doing that as a warning, if they wanted to actually hurt those babies you'll be seeing blood and screaming in pain, but the cats didn't actually got their claws out to scratch, they hit with their paws to indicate they want you to leave them tf alone. Poor animals can't communicate their discomfort or displeasure in any other way, so teach your kids to be respectful of them and cautious as well, they're not toys and they know how to defend themselves.

Whenever my cat shows discomfort or irrigation I just put him down and or allow him to pull away from me. It's how we developed so much love and trust for each other. He still doesn't like to be held for a long time but he knows he can get away safety whenever he needs/wants to

@@leechjim8023 nah not really. There’s no “luck” in owning a cat. If you respect the cat, and show that you’re trustworthy, then it’ll show love back. I live with siblings who love to just be all over our cats personal space, and the poor thing runs away from them. I make sure to give my cat space and love, and just looking at him causes him to run over to me for head pats. They need to feel safe with you to know they can let their guard down. Cats are very independent anyway.
My cat is so sweet that I've never so much as heard his hiss. However, whenever I see that tail whipping I leave him to himself.
And when cats flatten their ears it's wise to leave the room until they calm down.
My neighbours cat was a mean spitfire, there was I happily weeding in my garden when he took a flying leap at me sunk his teeth into my hand drawing blood. After a visit to the hospital and five sts followed by a tetanus jab I swore I get my own back. No such luck happened, but I made sure I kept a eye out for him.

Cats like any animal need to be trained. They can’t be trained like typical dogs, but you can show them who’s boss.
Also, it’s fucking weird getting all touchy and feel your animals. Like I know it’s an American thing, but think about it you’re picking up an adult mammal and violating its personal space for your own personal pleasure. Imagine doing that with a grown ass human being. You know how weird that is? Pet it, compliment it and leave it tf alone.

I don’t know about that. Cats have a wide range of dispositions. Some cats are super mellow. But I agree how a cat is treated affects their temperament. When our second daughter came home from the hospital, we had her in a tiny little crib at the foot of our bed. Our cat was curious and would peer in at the baby and would sleep right by the crib all night. The cat never scratched or bit her as she grew up. We always felt the cat was her protector.

It actually irritates me how people will just pick up and hug a cat that clearly ain't interested in it. One of my cats likes being held but he'll do most of the lifting himself by clinging onto my shoulder. He doesn't want to feel grabbed and I just let him down when he wants. Loves it

My cat liked the sensation of being carried but felt too vulnerable. So I'd pick her up and cradle her, and the second I sensed she wanted out I'd let her down. Over time she learnt that it was safe to be cradled by me and enjoyed it

I love this. I was a certified "dog guy" when I moved in with some friends of mine during college. She liked me in our first meeting but she had this "love me from a distance and let ME come to you" mentality lol. I literally could not pick her up and hold her on my own accord. If she wanted snuggles she would initiate contact. I enjoyed being around her for a couple of years before moving elsewhere. Good times with her years ago are a great memory ❤️ 😁
