    I love your videos. I started my vending business in July and you have been more than helpful in many situations for me so far. I’m working to watching every single video you have. Please keep them coming. I’m less hesitant on buying machines now if I think they’ll need some work because you’ve allowed me to be more confident in making repairs. thank you 😊

    I've been making my own flavor labels as well. I had to figure out a way to get AP combo machine labels to be cross compatible with Royal and Vendo machines, so I made them really big but with all the info in the middle narrow strip to allow me to cut that down. I found that I really wanted to make the file as editable as possible, so I made a lot of it from scratch and then I can edit it for each new label I make. I also try to print as many on one sheet as possible to conserve resources.

    You can save $$$ by using clear packing tape to go over your strips as opposed to that laminating machine. Also if you have unique drinks you can scan the labels into photoshop and just move things around like the calories or whatever. When using photoshop make yourself a black cutout layer with the strip shape and use it as an overlay and work under it, when you print just cut along the shape.

      I have scanned labels when I couldn't''t find content on the internet. Yeah, packing tape could work, but I do like the thinkness that the lamination provides.

    great video.. but I wouldn't put the price on label especially with prices going up on EVERYTHING every day.. We just put a sign on machine.. press your selection for price and availability...

    • @HappyVending
      @HappyVending 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yeah...I know what you're saying, but I've been selling cans for $1 since 2017 and I don't plan on increasing the price anytime soon. If I do change the price, I would just reprint the label.

    Great video, Bill!!! I've had to make my own for some time, but I'm not good with any photo editing software when it comes to layers. Right now, I've added Peach Nehi to my machine and I need to make a label for it. I've also scanned the smaller labels and have resized them larger for my needs.
    I also have the added problem of the sun as my machines are outside. I'm using a UV blocking spray on mine with less than desired results, so I have to make new labels every 6 months or so, or mine fade.

      @@HappyVending No. That is a great idea. I don't have a laminating machine, but I may invest in one.

    I have a 70s Cavalier machine that doesn't use standard sized strips, so I have to make my own. My only problem is with getting the sold out light holes lined up properly. There's a lot of trial and error involved. I wish I could come up with a streamlined template for all drinks, cutout and everything.

    • @HappyVending
      @HappyVending 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I usually just put an actual flavor strip overtop of the one that I made so that I can mark where to punch out the hole. I use a single hole punch for that.

    I love your videos! I bought a stack machine but it doesn't have the name plate and I want to get the correct manual. It's a cold drink machine with 9 selection. The seller told me it's a royal vendor 650 but I don't know how to be sure. Any tips

      What is on the front of it? If it is a coke machine, it is probably a giii machine. If it's not a coke machine, it's probably a merlin iv.
