  • A strong and resilient woman was caught in a web of manipulation within her own marriage. Her only hope? An SOS sign that was supposed to call for help but ended up making things even worse. In a desperate attempt to be saved from her angry husband, the woman spelled SOS with her hand, hoping his colleague would see it. Did she manage to escape her husband's toxic clutches?

What would be great after a story like this is a story inspired by the formerly abused women that are out there, who rescue other people being abused and give these people safe haven and a way to transition out of the abusive living conditions. They do this every day with published phone numbers to call and they answer the call at great risk to themselves and the people they shelter. I hope this video and a future video gives hope and shows the way.

Joe was as evil as the husband was. He's basically a wolf in a sheep's clothing, pretending to be a hero just so he could get into her bed and practically abuse her and restart the cycle again. Scary how some people have friends like this. Also love the quote "a person who is afraid of a strong and independent woman can hardly call himself a man".

Men are not afraid of strong independent women
Men just don’t care for masculine women
And most women who came to be strong and independent are combative argumentative and usually quite masculine for some reason
And yes you should not need anyone to make you happy
That is your responsibility not some man’s to be your entertainment to have to make you happy
Whenever I hear a woman talk like this I think it is great she is single
No man deserves to be in a relationship like that
It is not fear but it is definitely not attractive
Maybe for a guy who wants to be with another guy if he likes masculine and not a feminine partner

Omg wow!!! Outstanding performances! This one was really good! Unfortunately, it hit home for me, but domestic violence needs to stop being the elephant in the room. It's a real problem and many women (and some men) go through what your actress portrayed. Thank you DramatizeMe for bringing this subject up to light. It should remind the world that we, as humans, need to stop this abuse. ❤ Bravo to the whole team!

Exactly! The way the bedtime story for Lily related to Lily's mother's life is a wonderful detail! It really is Lily who saved her mother, no "prince charming" had to be involved. At the end, the mother realizing that the princess should just get rid of the dragon herself rather than waiting for her prince charming to do it all because of that bedtime story is amazing. I love to see the story progress and unfold. Sometimes people in this world are beyond foul, and the only person that can save you is yourself.

Domestic violence is a serious problem. This video is empowering. It shows the cycle of domestic violence can be broken. All it takes is determination of an abused spouse, never to be abused again. This video is worthy of being a Special. Thank you DramatizeMe for such a well written, multi-level story. Great writing, acting and direction. All the actors brought their best to the screen, including the little girl. Sergey played to type, but was exceptionally viscerally viscous. Rob Feldman played exceptionally creepy, psychotic predator. The woman played the strong woman who finally realizes her worth and that she can stand up to predators. The little girl played innocence and was the bright spot in a dark world whose light and brilliance made the world a shining place of promised happiness. You should all be proud.

Today I was watching the news on a tv Chanel from my country . They talked about the panic button! Unfortunately a poor woman got murdered by her boyfriend because he thought she was cheating on him!
3 days before her murder he had broken her leg , he was very abusive.
She went to the police and they told her to leave the house and they also downloaded the app for the panic button. Unfortunately he surprised her and she didn’t have the time to push it and now she is dead!
In my country alone many women are dead or abused by their husband/ partner. Especially the last few years.
Where is this world going to?
Loved the video . I have never been abused , thank God, but it’s always good to get the right information how to read a sign for help or use the panic button!
      Kind regards from Holland ❤❤❤

It's a movie but it is painful to watch because it reflects real life examples.
Years ago I stopped at a small company to ask directions. The beautiful, hesitant lady at the front who helped had obvious bruises on her lovely face, the kind a man's fist would make. In those years I did not know how to recognize the seriousness it indicated, nor did I know what action could be taken.
I could have reported what I saw and where to a police detective who could have gone and made discrete observations and some clue revealing question about "anything" to check out her situation.
Today, I know much better what can be done. Fortunately, the males in my family and relatives have always been respectful and protective of the women in their lives.

The creepy bit is at 8:37 where the "daughter" looks at him the same way the mother did. If this was a movie, I could see a sequel where the daughter is now a serial killer.

6:30 Okay but she said she wanted to be alone. Wouldn't it make sense for her to need more time to heal? This guy may be triggering her bad memories because he's the one who helped her be saved and she may not want to think about the whole situation as she may still need to heal from it.
[PS: I'm aware that I am likely looking into this too much, but I am just giving reasoning for her denying to open the door for him initially, maybe she is not ready to discuss that event, it was clearly traumatic and life threatening for her. I am also speaking from personal experience of not wanting to discuss my trauma for a long time. People heal differently, that's all.]

Oh my goodness... after watching up to 9:34 by now the guy who "saved her" is a total creepo! Ick, I hate when people act like because they save a girl she owes them her body! The nerve of that jerk. I'm disgusted!!
