My father flew them in real life - 3 man crew and a torpedo. He said it glided like a manhole cover ! You can get in those tight areas on the field if you fold wings on taxi. This is one I’ll get for sure. Dad was at Ft. Lauderdale at the end of WW2.
I had a horrendous time with this aircraft. I had all the bugs you have but when I lift off the ground the plane lurches upwards uncontrollably, I will have to try again and set the elevator trim to like -5.0 or something to try to prevent it.
The aircraft is very sensitive on the pitch axis for sure. I had no trouble doing a decent first flight, though. Still flying on 2020, though, so maybe that's a factor as well.
I think you forgot to unlock the wings before trying to fold them? They unfolded without power just fine, and then you locked them, and the lever never left the lock position, right?
@TheSound0fLegends They automatically unfold because they are folded, but the control on the dash is set to fold, like the movie mentions and shows. Watch it.
Jonathan, your highspeed low pass over the runway, if it would've been available, wouldn't you have loved to hit that Instant Replay button and watch it from a spectator point of view ?... I sure would have ! A flightsimulator without Instant Replay and Fly-By View is like french fries without mayo...
The one thing I noticed is that there is no torpedo nor bomb in the bay, and there is no gun modeled in the turret. This is pretty unacceptable when you have Miltech not only having weapons on their new M2C but they also launch from the rails ~AND the guns actually fire. Orbx has always done aircraft pretty half-assed so this doesn't surprise me at all, and if you go into their forum and complain about the bugs you'll most likely get banned like they used to do in the FSX/P3D days, cutting you off from "official" support and then trying to get people banned for posting the information on other forums. Orbx is as classless, as Milviz, now Blackbird, used to be as well, so I buy nothing from them anymore.
The canopy looks a bit too see-through in the outside views - there's no (or too little) reflection to it. Also, the lack of a pilot is awful. I won't be buying this until/unless that is fixed.

Can you tell me how you have your drone work so wonderfully 4:26

This plane is beautiful. So is this airfield. Hopefully the bugs aren't too hard to fix.
A must have for the War Birds collection.
I Was Thinking About You Flying In The Grumman TBF Avenger Cause I Learned From A WWII Naval Aviation Book
Pilots are visible in the MSFS2020 installation, so I think this is the known bug in MSFS2024.

They automatically unfold when you turn on the aircraft's power I noticed. You have to remember to lock them though 😂

Great video, 👍
Are the bird sounds from the scenery?

I’m waiting for someone to come out with a “true”F4 U Corsair, with that PW R-2800 engine!
Do you think the handling is partly due to lack of load in the bomb/torpedo bay? Has to be a weight balancing act for smaller/older planes.
Does anyone know if this is coming to the Xbox series X?
@£17 a real bargain. Beautiful plane
I really doubt the “wobble” in real life. I’m probably wrong.

that's the second plane that has no pilot like to know why you can't use my pilot.
